need to recover photos from iPhoto

hi,

i was importing photos from my Nikon Point & Shoot to iPhoto by connecting through USB cable. Don't know what happen, suddenly iPhoto crashed and all my images disappeared. They are even deleted from memory card also and not listed in Trash folder.

Can somebody tell me how to get back my photos.

Well, make sure you haven't ignore the Mac Trash, maybe your photos are spleeping there. If you have already checked your Nikon camera memory card, iPhoto Trash & Mac Trashcan, all in vain. Probably the only way to recover your lost photos is by trying some photo recovery software, check this site http://www.digital-camera-recovery.com/ for a list of tested ones. iPhoto has a built in library repair routine that could help.
