preview: PDF page numbers

Is there any possibility to add ongoing page numbers to a PDF document except of doing it by hand in preview ?

I used to use an application to do just this a while back... haven't done so and can't find it anywhere I'm afraid...

Have you checked out applications like PDFPen? I haven't used it - but I wonder if it'll automatically number pages in a document...

Any freeware app that can write a watermark to a pdf can potentially be used to add page numbers...

Let me know how you get on. I'd be interested to know if you find something cool that can do this.

If you have Adobe Acrobat you can add/change page numbers all day long on a PDF file by using the Header/Footer tab.
