Exported Video Keeps Skipping

Every time I try to export or share a video project from Final Cut Pro X, the video skips while the audio plays perfectly. It repeats this very brief clip almost throughout the entire video. The video plays perfectly within the program when the project is open but when it is exported I keep having issues. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Maybe it is worthwhile to post the video somewhere to have a look at what the issue is. Also it maybe be worthwhile to know the original media format and what you are exporting it to and how.

I get that sometimes, too, with 1920 HD video. It's almost as if the video has too much data in it. I re-size it down to 720 HD with QuickTime Player and it plays just fine.

If I Export the same video to the same 1920 HD size in FCP 7, it doesn't stutter.

It doesn't make sense, really, and told folks they were doing something wrong, until I saw it happen on my Mac Pro first hand.
