Ingesting Canon XF codec in FCP X

I have just purchased the new Canon XF 100. The FCP web page says that the Canon XF codec can be ingested into FCP X with a plug-in. Anyone have experience with this? What do I need to purchase?
I appreciate any help...and am hoping that Apple and Canon will get together and make this codec native in the future.

"Canon XF MPEG-2; ingest supported with additional software."

This is not referring to a plugin, but a third party app like MpegStreamclip.

FCP X import is a plugin architecture just like in 7, but we have to wait until each camera manufacturer writes new ones.

FCP X is not based on the QuickTine engine, but on newer more powerful technologies. Thus everything will take a little time to catch up.
