iMovie 11 and text bubbles (or the likes)

Hi! I have a problem with iMovie when I add transparent pictures to a clip. I have created text bubbles in .png formats. When I add that kind of picture-picture and have a transition between two clips, the movie freezes while the picture is about to show up. If I remove the transition (any type), the clip plays normal. Has any one else experinced this?

I'll try and give this a test over the weekend and let you know if I experience the same issue.
