iMovie to Vimeo (share) Upload Question

When I use iMovie's "share" feature to upload directly to Vimeo, does iMovie store the processed Movie on my HD BEFORE it sends it?

I can't seem to find one anywhere. :(

Since I really LIKE having the processed file around (after the upload), I'm wondering if the share feature really is skipping a major step (to me) that I have to then come back and recreate.

So, rather than use share, I'm thinking It might just be easier to save it, then upload separately to Vimeo.

Unless someone knows where that lost file might be!

Thanks

From what I understand, the encoded QuickTime movie for Vimeo upload is saved to your hard drive, but only temporarily. Once it's uploaded, it's deleted from your hard drive to save space.

If you want the file itself, as encoded for Vimeo, you'd have to export a regular QuickTime movie, purchase Compressor, and encode it there yourself.
