I'm on a Mac with IMovie 9.0.4 I built a slide show in AfterEffects and it is very large 14GB (don't laugh) It's extremely sharp as a QT Movie. I imported it into iMovie to add audio and exported it many ways H264, MPEG4 and always very soft and got compressed down to 75 MB's. Please help. I even did Sgare/Media Browser and brought it into iDVD and that was worse. Please help.

What frame size, frame rate, and codec did you use when you Exported from AE?

If you're using AE, you should also be using FCP X, too, rather than iMovie. And perhaps even use Motion instead, as it gets along better with FCP X and iMovie, and can do everything AE does.
