I have only just started to go through this tutorial and so far its great. Nice clear commentary and useful tips.
Excellent tutorial presented by an eacellent tutor, this really does make things a lot easier to understand.
Thanks to 'Mastering Photoshop CS3', it certainly makes life a lot easier, and the cost was worth every penny. Thank you, George Highsted
This was as good as it gets, easy to follow and understand the new features in CS3.
This is a really great tutorial. Calm, patient, instruction; that's what makes a learning program fun & productive.
brought cs3 core 101 from what time I have had to look at it , it looks good to me. Trouble is I am running an earlier version of photoshop so I have to adjust for the screen layout looking different but so far so good.
The tutorials are very good. Jim's voice is clear and comforting.
I'm taking a community college (credit) course to learn photo digital manipulation. The instructor "runs" through the material so fast (probably because its so obvious to him) that I was ready to panic -- then I found the Photoshop 101. My frustration is that it was an expense over my college tuition, text, and program (CS3-Extended... CS3 basic no longer available).. My life, however, now feels a little more manageable since your tutorial. I can replay, stop, digest, and begin again. VERY h...
I've play around with Phototshop for years. About all I even got good at was resizing a photo. I recently started to scan all my family's old photos and decided I really have to learn Phototshop. I have a few books and they are very helpful but as the old saying goes "a picture paints a thousand words". I'm half way through the Photoshop tutorial and I really like it. It does exactly what I wanted. It goes over the basics of everything. What I needed. I will watch a few times and them use it a...
The Photoshop tutorial is excellent and it covered pretty much everything I wanted. The only thing I really needed to add to the mix is to convert my mind into a sponge - so until I do that, I'll be watching it several times and referring to it to help me with my photoshop work.
As a newbie to Photoshop, learning the basics was a priority on getting to grips with this powerful program. To this end your tutorials have given me the confidence to delve further into this intimidating software. I realise that this is only the start of a long learning curve and further instruction is needed to get where I want to be. So I might be calling upon you again in the near future.
I realised how much i don't know about the basics of Photoshop just after i finished viewing several topics in this tutorials...i'll recommend this to anyone that i know who really wants to get into Photoshop....Thanks again Jim...More power to you !!!!
I found the tutorials very good and Jim Kanter's voice easy to listen to. There are a few tutorials that are quite short but to the point. A good product and worth the cost
I HAVE STARTED CHECKING IT OUT AND SO FAR IT HAS BEEN HELPFUL. I LIKE THAT YOU CAH GO FROM ONE LESSON TO ANOTHER.
very fast voice clear, but a bit "monotone" examples quite basic, could be occasionally more "exciting" good value for money
I am very satisfied with the tutorials. However, I think other basics such as drawing tools, slices, ruler tool, guides, should be included. Other tutorials that I think should be forthcoming include clipping paths, what blending modes do, smart objects and the "layer" menu. I really do think it's important for you to keep up with Photoshop developments and keep adding to your rerpertoire - for both commercial reasons and customer satisfaction. You have a good product but the ball needs to be k...
This was a great set of tutorials for the beginner. Jim Kanter got right to the point on describing each level to the tee, by demonstrating to the user how photoshop functions. I
To All, 08 I have found that all training I have from MacProVideo.com is in fact, the best yet I have found and I've had others. Point, crystal clear diction, made to be fun and excellent planning went into all this. More than pleased. Highly recommended. T.J. Mutnich
The great thing with MacProVideo tutorials is that even if you do not master english because you are not a native, the quality of the sound and the image makes it easy to understand. The speakers are perfect. The interface is brilliant. I really learn like I would go to the pictures. I sit back, I relax and I learn ! I think it overdelivers. Thanks for producing such good tutorials.
I took a course in Photoshop at our community college. I learned more useful information in the first half hour than the entire college course. Jim
yes i liked the tutorial a lot hopefully in the future you will have the new tutorial for pro tools 7.4 thenk you
I have only finished part of the training video - and I do not has photoshop CS3 (I have photoshop CS) So far the lessons have been helpful and I think I can utilize some of the info for use with my version of photoshop. When I finish the training I can give a more thorough summary of my impressions.
This is probably the best photoshop tutorial I have come across for the beginners and even for the intermediates. Of Course, there are so many out there on the market, but this one leads in all aspects. The presenter is clear, articulate and understandable. The information is extremely helpful and the examples are excellent. I have used photoshop for years, still I enjoyed and loved this tutorial. It was so refreshing! Only thing, I missed was that red circle. It would have been more nice. I...
I liked this tutorial it was very good, the thing is tho I was just getting into it when it ended, I really would love to have a more advanced tutorial going into more detail and giving tips and tricks, if you do this then you have a sale from me for sure.
many thanks for an excellant tutorial package. I am finding them very useful. steve.
Good for beginners, but for a long time user not quite advanced enough. The title: Mastering Photoshop implies "Mastering". The Title should be "Photoshop for Beginners" Maybe you'll have 201 and 301. I'll wait for 301. Thanks, Robert Little
Good introduction to basic functions. Pity there is no next step available such as techniques.
The Photoshop 101: Mastering Photoshop CS3 is a great tutorial that you guys have assembled, great tools on how to work around this new version of Photoshop CS3, nice explanation with clear voice. I wish you could have used more picture to illustrate variety of tools, but overall, you have done excellent job and that is why I decided to add this tutorial to my list of other great tutorials I have bought from you. Once again, excellent job, I will recommend people to buy this tutorial. ...
Well, you've done it again MacProVideo, another great tutorial. I've always had a fear of tackling Photoshop, but this tutorial has explained the basics and given me the foundation to learn additional aspects without intimidation. Having purchased other titles from MacProVideo such as Final Cut Pro, this tutorial is equally up there. A understandable tutorial with no complications. New to Photoshop? Trust me, this tutorial is awesome.
