Learn how to record, enhance, and distribute podcasts, using GarageBand!
Paul Garay is not just a master of audio production, he's a master of Podcasting - in fact, Paul is Apple's main Podcast trainer! When he's not traveling coast to coast teaching the fine art of podcasting for Apple, you can also catch him at his own popular podcast, the Inside Home Recording Show, where Paul and his friends discuss all things related to project recording studios.
This program teaches valuable podcasting skills including recording and editing podcasts, using GarageBand's built-in DSP effects to compress and EQ your voice to give it that big podcast sound, making enhanced podcasts with images and URL links listeners can click, and publishing your podcast on iTunes or through iWeb.
Of particular note, there's also a detailed section on recording remote interviews with people over the web, via Skype - really cool stuff if you don't have the time or resources to fly your interviewees to your home studio!

As it is with all the videos I've bought from you, Garageband 203 was very informative and brought me up to speed on using Garageband. These videos are a MUST for anyone wanting to learn how things work. In addition..."the price is right."
Excellent as an introductory tutorial. Gave me what I needed from a technical standpoint, as well as hints on the art of editing.
Dear Friends, I would like to know how can I use movie track and podcast track without eliminate the second one. The course did not explain this case. But in general the author did an amazing job. I could learn a lot.
interesting but some basics missing for me.. I am a novice and the simple task of taking an existing podcast and downloading it to then be put into garageband for editing is missing.. so I have files I can't find or editl I am sure the rest will fall into place once the basic steps are resolved
A fun and informative program for those who are unfamiliar with Podcasting and its potentials. Well presented in a format that is beneficial to the general public. This company is SUPERIOR in the Art of TEACHING!
Excellent tutorial, the teacher was very clear, methodical. Towards the end the intro pages to each chapter are wrong - it displays the length as "0:00". but other than that, perfect.
This was also good. Really in depth instruction. Audio of examples played was too soft. I had to turn up volume to hear your playbacks and then quickly turn down volume again for Paul's narration.
Good product - well designed, organized and presented.
Great introduction to podcasting, very helpfull and worth the money
Really useful ... specially the fact that it is in edible and digestible chunks.
Excellent! Although I was familiar with some of Garage Band's features, the things I learned from the videos made a significant difference in the quality and variety in my podcasts. The presentations were visually excellent and the sequence of instruction was logical and very clear. I would recommend the MacProVideo training to anyone who wishes to gain a comprehensive overview of Garage Band.
I wrote a review about this in macCompanion in the August 2007 issue. Although for the previous version, I still think this is a great video and well worth the $20 for anyone using GarageBand for Podcasting!
