Learn Battery 3 from expert Chris Butcher, in this comprehensive and easy to follow course. You’ll learn how to get the most out of the 12 gigabyte sample library that comes with the program. And we’ll also show you how to build great sounding drum kits from your own samples and loops, including REX files – and a number of other formats.
Chris will take you through everything from loading a drum kit, to setting up cells and drum mapping. No stone is left unturned!
Battery 3 is a powerful, yet simple drum sampler and we’ll show you how to get the most out of it. With its all-new playback engine, its scores of new sound shaping options, its ability to load any sample you may already have, or one of the great-sounding sample libraries from Native Instruments, as well as a fantastically simple user interface – Battery 3 flawlessly handles both electronic and acoustic-sounding drums!

Battery 3 is that drum design tool of epic proportion, Chris Butcher revealed area's of this drum plug-in that where sitting in-front of me and I now know better.
An essential course for music producers wanting to learn about Battery 3. From editing individual sounds and looping samples to grouping instruments and applying effects. This software works just as well in standalone mode or as a plugin in most DAWs.
I wanted to really understand the basics and so decided to start with the Battery 3 tutorial before proceeding to Battery 4. I have no regrets as this tutorial is amazing. Every feature of Battery is thoroughly and well explained, so much that I pretty much know my way around Battery before I've even used it to produce a track. I'll be proceeding to Battery 4 now, but I am in no doubt that the principles are the same, and I may only need to focus on the newer features.
A well-presented, clear guide to Battery 3 which encouraged me to load it up and produced good results straight away.
I've owned Battery for a while, but I haven't used it much! I realize now that I needed some training! This was a very helpful course and I have already started to incorporate Battery into my workflow! I should be receiving Battery 4 in a few days! I'll be back for the Battery 4 tutorials!
Good overview of the settings and use of NI's Battery 3. A few of the end videos are more focused on using drums in a DAW, not Battery specific. Would like more real world kit creation demos.
Clear, very straightforward and plenty of info.
