This is a must do course for anyone working with FCPX. I did this training and I came away with a very clear understanding of how to manage my media. Ben Balser did a spectacular job explaining this subject in a practical and easy to understand manner. Keep up the good work Ben!

While the content is strong, and the demonstrations appropriate, I find this tutorial difficult to follow. The presenter knows the material but does not always connect all the dots along the way. For instance, occasionally assumptions are left unspoken, the driving purpose unexplained, explanations are incomplete, or the explanation is provided but a little "off." To compound these distractions, the pop-ups have surprisingly simple misspellings. As a result of these disconnects and distractions, I had to review topics to glean the useful information and to distill the importance of certain techniques for myself. The process was occasionally frustrating and made me feel like I had ADD. On the other hand, the sections are usually short, focused, and easily reviewed so, with a little patience, the information is accessible. So, while I wish this video were more polished and rescripted some, Balser's tips, insights, and techniques are invaluable for anyone who wants to use FCP X to the utmost on large projects or a multitude of projects while remaining organized.

Funny thing about Final Cut Pro X, while I totally love the new release it can also be a little bit confusing too - I guess because it's all so new and different. As powerful as the File Management system is it can also be a little more daunting than previous version of Final Cut - but, again, much, much more powerful. This tutorial course really helped clear lots of things up for me and helped me work much smarter - especially with managing my files and becoming more efficient with my workflow. Thanks.
