This is my 6th download and i am becoming quite a fan of these tutorials. They all consistent in their high quality of content and clear instructions. One of the features i really like is the search which enables you pinpoint exactly a subject or information you are looking for.

This training is very well done. I learned a lot of things in there. I was watching the DVD Studio pro training first and I had to find out that iDVD is completely different. I would like to see a DVD studio express version since iDVD is a little to simple for me and DVD studio pro is too expensive with FCP. Apple should include a DVD Studio express version with FCE.

As for this training I wish there would be an update for the new iDVD '08 which has some interfaces changes in it (e.g. there is no Menu tab anymore and this tab is used quiet a bit in the training). Will there be an update soon?

Thank you for your great trainings!

I PURCHASED BOTH iDVD and iMovie
tutorials and I can honestly say that they have helped one hell of a lot. Good straightforward instructions have helped me to produce a quality movie of my daughter's
wedding....thanks.

As usual, a very good tutorial.
Before watching this tutorial, i didn't think it was possible to do a great DVD with iDVD.
From now and thanks to this tutorial, I will experiment somme of my project with iDVD.
These tutorials are clear, easy to understand and it shows all the features of iDVD.
I recommend it to all the people who want to make a great DVD without being obliged to buy DVD Studio Pro.

Description

This version of Mastering iDVD covers iDVD '06

iDVD has grown through the last few years to become the predominant authoring tool for people looking to quickly create engaging, interactive DVDs. Once you understand how iDVD works, you can create discs that would be at home on the shelves of Blockbuster as they are on the bookcase beside Grandma's TV.

This program takes you through every aspect of using iDVD, which is a startlingly capable DVD-Authoring tool! Wether you're capturing video directly from your camera into iDVD, or starting with pre-edited digital video streams, you'll learn valuable tips, tricks, and techniques to make your video look as good as possible, DVD after DVD.

Of course, a DVD without interactivity is not much more than a high quality VHS tape. A big part of any DVD is the interactivity you build into it. Francesco covers this area in detail, demonstrating how to use Templates to quickly create interactivity, and also how to create your own custome menus using images or videos created in other multimedia applications.

There's a lot of info covered in this course. To get a good feel for what you'll learn, check out the Table of Contents below!
