Awesome presentation; Gary is a great instructor with a solid demeanor and ideal pacing. However, the presentation he makes doesn't look very good; poor choice of fonts diminish an otherwise excellent lesson. Additionally, in lesson 81: Keynote Remote, he mentions the "iTouch". There is no such thing as an iTouch. It's called an iPod Touch. Little details like these weaken the presentation and erode his credibility. Mediocre graphic design, hovering cursor, and "iTouch" aside, though, this really is an unimpeachable class and I'd highly recommend it.

Great pace, and great narration... but the cursor is hovering in the middle of the keynote the entire time, which is quite distracting, and a bit amateurish. If you're not using the cursor, please move it to the side, instead of letting it linger in center stage like a still fly on the wall.

Great tutorial, Gary tone and mode (including rate) of presentation was perfect.

Once you get into this tutorial it is very good. By into it I mean time wise. I was a little disapointed in the first half as it was very very basic. Some of the tutorials cover things that are more about OSX like how to start the program how to resize a window how to minimise a window what the red or green dots do in any OS X window so it felt padded out to me. Still the last half of things gets stuck into things and in the end I did learn alot. I really liked the Keynote presentation he built it was great. So overall my suggestion is to get this but dont give up part the way through it does get into the meat of things eventually and is worth it.

The video was very helpful. I have used keynote for some time, but still picked up a lot of points.

The perfect primer for beginners. Very easy to follow, with a clear, well-organized flow and a very pleasant instructor. I've been using Keynote for many years, but was still able to pick up some tips and shortcuts that I didn't know about. If you are new to Keynote, this program is a must. If you are a vet, it's good to run through the chapters to make sure you are getting the most out of the program. Great stuff!

I found this course very informative and easy to use. I have been working with Keynote for over a year and was basically self taught after attending a 1-hour session on iWork at the local Apple Store. With this course, I found it about 40% review and 60% new information. Well worth the cost and time.

These tutorials are excellent ... well organized and delivered, very easy to follow.

I think the Keynote '09 101: Core Keynote '09tutorial was exceptionally informative. I have learned a lot about the program. I am still reviewing the chapters though I feel I wil learn so much more.

Excelent as all otheres. I ordered all iLife 09 and iWorks 09 tutorials. Still waiting for the final release of the others.
