Logic 406

I really enjoyed this tutorial. If like me, purchasing third party plugins can be a bit of an expense that you can't afford right now, then this tutorial will really help you to utilize Logics plugins, especially compression.

I have 19 tutorials from macprovideo so not everything in this was new. But a lot of it was. I was hoping there would be even more workflow tips like those given in the preview videos. Quick little shortucts is what i was expecting. But it actually felt more like a TNT series in that it went over a lot of creative things rather than just ways to get around the program. Like a number of other reviewers I found this tutorial excellent. Having only recently started using Logic I found the workflow tips extremely useful and relevant to my style of music production. Olav's presentation style is both educational and inspirational. Full marks, another quality tutorial product.

This is exactly the type of tutorial I've been needing! Packed with loads of great workflow techniques and tips on ways to make tracks sound PHAT! Olav lays it down clearly and quickly, getting straight to the point...which is what I should be doing right now...Fantastic! 5 stars and roll on volume 2!

I echo all of these reviews... Olav's tutorial is rich with real-world useful techniques that transcend the Logic platform and teach us how great recordings are made. This is one I am constantly going back to. Nice job, Olav!

In short words. This is GREAT!

Another great tutorial from Olav and the explanation of things is excellent for both the beginner and experienced viewer. Olav really is great at doing these tutorials and makes them fun to watch. My only niggle would be that the audio quality of the tutorials sounds slightly distorted to me compared to the other ones I have bought so for this reason only I give it a 4 star rather than the 5 it deserves.

Absolutely Amazing. A wealth of experience and information to improve not only your workflow, but your overall sound / mixes. I find myself watching many of the videos repeatedly and really look forward to more!!!

This is an essence of Logic knowledge. Olav is giving away a masterclass in making things happen. It almost seems like magic to me when he gains a momentum and I have to pause, rewind and watch again to make sure he is for real. You can watch it over and over again it is like a great movie. Invaluable, not to be missed and great fun. Thank You!

I just finished watching Olav's new masterpiece and it is fantastic. Lot's of great tips and tricks for every Logic user. Don't be misled by the the word "Electronica" in the title this tutorial transcends genre... my only regret is that I didn't create this masterpiece. :) ... great job Mr. Basoski!

I love all the Logic tutorials. However Olav's have been especially useful for me. I think partly because Olav's sound as a producer & dj is very similar to mine. Every workflow tip and technique he has discussed I have been able to instantly incorporate into my workflow. I loved his first tutorial. Plus I like what I have seen so far of this one... I am excited to see the rest of this tutorial as it become available.

Hi Just purchased the new Logic 406: Olav's Electronica Workflow Tricks. And I have to say it's another winner. From the simple but imformative use of low cut,high cut and surgical eq of the first chapter. To the impressive insight into the often overlooked marquee tool in the second chapter-which has to make everyones life within Logic so much easier and quicker! But the third chapter is essential viewing for anyone who has trouble grasping the fundamentals of compression.With individual segm...
