Reviews
I only bought this video a few days ago and only watched the first half. It is very interesting and easy to follow. The instruction was excellent. I am looking forward to finish this video. It would be nice if we could buy some excercise files from this video as well. I bought some video from other firms who also included the excercise files. I have enjoyed the bits I have watched so far. I now understand all the basic tools and how to use them. I have learned more in a few days than th...
Michael sounds like he's having fun, which makes the tutorials more interesting and fun for the viewer. Thorough coverage of the basics, and much more.
Very useful tutorial! I learned just about all the basics from this in a very easy-to-understand way.
there is a great amount of info on this tutorial. I don't see easy access to downloadable tutorials or direct ways to work with apple tutorials that come with the software.
Really helpful and way easier than reading the online manual that comes with Motion.
I really enjoyed Michael Wohl's training video on Motion 3. He is very informative with a upbeat tone of voice so you never end up bored or tired watching it. You can easily go back to the training video when you are stuck on a certain aspect in Motion 3 and use it as a 'hand's on reference tool'. Think of it as having the instructor there when you need him! Very good, I always enjoy Macprovideo's tutorials and recommend this to anyone. Please note: 3D space is not covered in this tutorial so yo...
Wow, Motion 3 101 has been able to teach me Motion to an extent that no book would have been able to do in such a short amount of time. Being one of those "learning by doing" types I'm not into manuals or going through pages upon pages of stuff that I'm not interested in. If I want to do something and don't know how I look it up, this is where macprovideo's N.E.D. proves its advantage over any other learning method. I now feel confident in using Motion and no longer having to outsour...
Good but I'm still looking for the lesson on 3D and I'm almost through my search. The Hyper Learn button is terrific! Instructor is very good. Would not mind skipping the chapter pause, though, when i click on the chapter I know what I'm clicking on so I don't need to see it.
Hi there Once again a very comprehensive resource for Motion, especially for beginners. Michael explains thoroughly Motion's interface and go through the various combinations and possibilities that Motion offers. He also includes some good tricks and short cuts to achieving certain effects. The examples given were clear and straight to the points. They explained the tools and the effects efficiently. The one little constructive feedback that I would like to give relates to real examples. Inst...
I found the learning experience very enjoyable. Michael Wohl delivers complex instruction in a very easy real world method that increased my learning because he made it simple for me. 5***** and 2 thumbs up!
We found Core Motion 3 very informative and easy to follow, a very good introduction to Motion
Motion 101. I have not gone through it entirely yet but I like it very much. Very task oriented and gets you in the software (in fact compared to the ones I have about Logic, I tend to prefer this one, in particular for the narration style) Excellent job
Very well paced. Informative and entertaining. Michael's voice is easily intelligible without being hypnotic like a few others who have had me sound asleep at the keyboard. Bring on Motion 3D.
I am very pleased with the Motion 101 content and believe it was a good investment of my time and money. I am looking forward to more information regarding 3D and other topics that were not addressed in this initial offering in a future tutorial.
Great information to get you started. Wohl is smart and interesting to listen to. My only disappointment was that he did not go into any 3D. Perhaps that will be in the next volume.
Well done Mr. Wohl! I found the tutorials got me up to speed very quickly. Michael's clear delivery and deep knowledge of the application made the learning process a breeze. I highly recommend these tutorials to anyone venturing into Motion 3 territory. SS
I like this instruction-videos very much, and they defenetely makes learning much faster , all though I would have liked some introdution to the 3D invirement in this program. The N.E.D. works absolutely perfect, thank you guys for a great job. Best regards Finn
I found the tutorial to be very clear and easy to follow. I liked the coverage, although I would have liked to have seen a bit more content or at least some kind of project oriented training. Overall I'm very satisfied with the tutorial. The author shows a great deal of knowledge and he makes it easier to follow the lessons. I was able to finish the training in a couple of days. I would recommend this training to anyone in need of a better understanding of the features Motion 3 offers.
Excellent, well-structured tutorials, gets you up to speed quickly.
Very good video quality, narrator easy to follow, good screen coverage. I have recommended this to my students as well of some other business associates. For what its worth, you sold a class on Logic to a close friend and though I had visisted your site I had stayed with Lynda.com. I was very impressed with what he said which is the reason I tired it out. Very please
Perfect training, really helpful as all the others from MacProVideo and a great pleasure to listen to Michael Wohl! Rating 6!
Excellent! I feel I could now dive striaght in to Motion 3 and produce impressive results.
I´ve been watching your great tutorial. It´s one of the best I had so far. Unfortunately I do not have the Motion 3-software to use it. Therefore I´d like to buy this software from the US. Because in Europe it´s not affordable. Please give some hint. With the best regards, Peter
All of the tutorials I have, Final Cut 6, Logic Studio, and Core Motion 3, are the best that I know of. They are very to the point and entertaining. Thank you. Now can I have a couple freebies? Actually, for what you're getting the price is very reasonable.
As usual, Mr. Wohl walks on water. I have other titles by him and they are consistently superior in providing immediate understanding and a coherent framing of the subject matter. No easy task when compared to "similar" offerings posted on "Lynda.com" (where I have a premium subscription and who I suspect is a direct competitor). David Wilder
Another GREAT video tutorial. I guarantee this is SO MUCH EASIER than trying to read a manual. (a manual may help afterwards... but this is the best initial way to learn). I hope to see an advanced lesson set soon that covers the 3D capabilities in Motion. But for a "101" tutorial this is GREAT!
Hi Motion is big and difficult. Even though I followed, some things were not the same on my screen. But the training was good enough that I was able to finish a project I was on. I am waiting for PART 2 of motion. I will buy another.
By far one of the best Motion 3 learning DVD's on the planet. And believe me, I've sen them all. The way Michael Wohl Lays out the features is smooth, clear, and precise. They could not of gotten a better teacher for the job. Considering he help design Final CUt Pro, I say who better to learn from. Easily a 5 star video. If you want a very comprehensive guide to learning the complex and wonderful application than this DVD is the place to start.
