Excellent course with good pacing and clear videos. Very obvious that Michael Wohl knows Motion 5 well. I learn best by working along side the videos and wish there were downloadable lesson files, even at this early stage. Example, lesson 11. Simulation Behaviours, it wasn't stated or shown how the the vertical "Motion 5" was created. Seeing the results I figured it was done with individual text letters instead of a full words. So, that's how I made mine and it worked. Later, I tried it by typing a letter and hitting return after each so it was a single vertical text box, it also worked. That was easier, especially with line spacing, and would have been nice to know. I'm using Motion 5.2.1 and there have been some changes but nothing major at this point. I'd recommend this course.
I got motion for a while and finally I can learn it. Great introduction. Let the fun begin.
Outstanding training. Only someone who really knows what they're doing can create a course like this - a perfect mix of detail and broad conceptual understanding. Reminds me of Trish and Chris Meyer's book on After Effects (high praise intended). After watching the free 101 course I knew I had to see the rest. I have to get up and running on Motion 5 in a hurry and Mr Wohl's course is *perfect* for that. The pace is brisk but deep and never boring. I considered a few other courses for Motion 5 training, and this was by far the best.
Really does a great job in establishing a strong basic understanding of Motion 5!
This is a very well done tutorial and Michael Wohl is an exceptional teacher. This is a great intro to motion because he breaks it down into little bites that you can easily remember and build upon. He gives you the right amount of info in each video. I've watched other tutorials that dive into details and then you get lost. Michael's enthusiasm for the product and teaching is clear and motivational. His FCPX series is equally great.
Great start up tutorial! If you just want a quick overview of what Motion does, then this video is perfect.
I like the fact that we get a quick jump start set of tutorials. Get you going a little so it doesn't seem so much of a daunting task to take it all in. LOVE THIS SITE! Thanks to all involved!
Unbelievable program, or app for you youngsters. I can't wait to develop my skills into a more efficient workflow. There are so many directions you can go. It is easy to get overwhelmed at first.
Nice course. Michael Wohl is great in Final Cut Pro X and not the motion course is really good.
Great overview...pumped to get more into Motion even though I'm more of an audio guy,
Great tutorial for those new to Motion... just enough to get you started.
An excellent tutorial! covered all the aspects of the program all the way to its final output to be used with Final Cut Pro X. If you haven't use Motion 5 like me you will definitely need to see this!
The free Introduction was the reason I purchased the entire tutorial package. It showed the potential of Motion 5.
Very good well worth the money, thanks to MacProVideo for the quality beats looking at a manual, I bought the complete set and very glad I did. Hope I can be as good at it as Micheal, he does it so effortlessly what a tutor!
Just great for every one that intends to use Motion 5 and Final Cut Pro X. Thanks to MacProVideo and to Michael Wohl for such initiative.
I would not even think about purchasing Final Cut Pro X or Motion 5 with out these tutorials.
A great start to learning Motion5. As others have said, what makes a difference is that Michael gives an overview that shows you glimpses of what you'll be accomplishing as your confidence grows with Motion. I've sat through too many courses that painstakingly show every aspect of software, but miss out on the joy of exploring something new. Looking forward to going into more depth with the other courses.
Incredibly Helpful! I love the fact that he got us into the program immediately and set us up for more details if we're interested later! Great Great Start! I clearly see why he got 5 stars!
Good quality overview. MW is all over it as usual. Much easier to take the initiative and grab the bundle to get a bit deeper. Thanks MPV for the taster.
Michael is very articulate and informative. He takes his time and repeats himself so the material sinks in.
Great overview! MacProVideo is my favorite training site now! Also highly recommend the Final Cut X bundle. Both bundles are great values.
