Great way to introduce Traktor to beginners. This course explained everything thoroughly and very clear. Must have if you are trying to learn Traktor basic's 101
It is a very complete tutorial on how to start using Traktor if you are a first time user and a bit lost. I would like to see more tips, tricks and shortcuts.
Basic overview of Traktor, well explained and easy to follow. An advance version would be great with midi mapping and mixing techniques.
I thought this class was an informative tutorial that covered only the basics of the Traktor Pro interface and the Traktor F1 hardware. Additional examples of live DJ'ing with Traktor hardware or more advanced DJ concepts would have made this course more fulfilling.
This is a great overview Traktor Pro. Very helpful in getting started with Trakor (and the F1). Olav is a great Trainer and make easy & fun to follow along.
A great course by Olav, his explanation of the various features of Traktor Pro 2 were very easy to follow. The only thing left to do now is to practice what he taught and hopefully master this fine piece of equipment and software.
All the basics you need to know delivered quick and easy. Be ready to get creative with Traktor after finishing this course. Remix decks explained really well,
Great Tutorial! Great teacher! quick to the point no fluff! I learned a couple new key features. primarily learned how to use the new F1.
Good tutorial which explain in details the functionality of the software. Would have like to have more DJ tricks with the software and hope Olav will make a part 2. But very well done. Thanks.
Really enjoyed the review I certainly learned a few things I didn't know, I mainly watched so I could learn how to use the F1 better, He explains it a lot easier than reps from NI I thought, and I got a better sense of fluent robust feel on controlling the controller. Very useful!
Great course for giving the fundamentals and tools to build from! Olav skips over some little points, but these you can simply investigate on your own. If you have the S2 or 4 though you'll need to do some self-discovery as its interface is not covered within this tutorial.
I find it very usefull still I guess you should show more about the effects in tractor
Great course, been using Traktor for about a year now and have learn't so much more from this course, like ALOT more!! Great tutorials on the F1 Kontrol as well :D
good tutorial, only I was expecting more tricks to perform in my presentations (perhaps Ableton live + Traktor) grettings!
Another great one by Olav. There's a couple of keystrokes he forgets to mention (like unloading the remix deck, unless I missed it) but other than that this course has saved me a lot of button mashing
As a musician who dabbles in the odd bit of remixing, I found this an interesting and useful introduction to the software. It encouraged me to play around a lot more with the software.
Olav Basoski, you are a great producer. The course is a must for a new or even a pro dj where you can learn tips tricks and the way Olav takes you in a journey with his terrific voice is a cream.
Nice dive into Traktor. Lots of details and demos on how to import/find/use audio, etc. Also digs into remix mode and using the traktor hardware.
Definitely a great video to get started. The Traktor tutorial series should be continued with a part two though. This going more into detail with hardware of Pro and Scratch pro. Also some tricks and tips on on just general Djing like tips on blending music or something. Ha Just saying it'd be nice.
This was certainly a great introduction, but courses on macro effects and other sort of "tips and tricks" would be cool in the future. Overall great course!
awesome job, I love this instructor, he does a lot of the Live stuff as well
Amazing Video - The Training ends abrupt !! Hope we get more Traktor Pro DJing Course :)
Been very curious about switching over to Traktor. This video helped me a lot in understanding the software and making me realize how to incorporate it into my workflow.
Thank you Macprovideo & Mr. Olav Basoski. I have watched many of your videos in the past from friends and finally I purchased my Traktor tutorial, I have used Traktor before but thanks to Macprovideo I know much more about the system. I love the way the teaching flows with ease, everything is in a structured easy to understand segments. Great job guys, keeps up the good work. One improvement would be to include extras from "Master class Producers" on little tips & tricks of the DJ/Producer world trade, how the software can be used in a live environment in a non conventional way. It would fun to see different DJ & Producers using the software. Thank you for this impeccable, fun & interesting learning tutorials, I will be using MacProVideo for all my future learning needs.
Olav is always great to listen too simply because he knows his stuff. Fantastic layout of the tutorial. Explained in a very intuitive manner. The use of the F1 controller made sense as he demonstrated along with the software.
I love that the Traktor Kontrol F1 is shown in conjunction with the videos. :) I am on lesson 20, and everything has been explained very clearly! There is only one minor thing that I am confused about. In lesson 20, It is mentioned that you can "Unload" your Remix Decks from the Preferences menu, but I can't seem to find it! He normally walks you through how to change the settings and this is the first time he hasn't. It's probably right in front of me but I just don't see it! Anyways that's such a small detail and is no big deal! Other than that, everything has been clearly explained! I have been enjoying the tutorials and have no complaints! Thanks for making the tutorials! :)
Very good review, teaches you the layout of Traktor with all the capabilities it has that can help you mix. It doesn't seem as easy to use as it would if you had the NI mixer et al. with it but that is nothing against how Olav put it over!
...very good tutorial which will help everyone who isn´t familiar with Traktor Pro 2.5 and the Remix Decks, F1 Controller...since I am Pro myself I was just jumping through the tutorials...however could it be that you (Olav) forgot to show the "Punch-Mode" at the Remix Decks F1? I would love to see more videos regarding DJing from you, especially for younger DJs/Producers...you are such a fantastic teacher and great Producer.
