Native Instruments' Massive is the go-to synth for getting that deep and dirty Dubstep sound. See how award-winning synthesist/producer Rishabh Rajan programs this awesome soft-synth in this advanced, multi-tutorial course...
Massive is, well, MASSIVE! It's a multidimensional synth that inspires us to explore all kinds of electronic soundscapes from its awesome synth engine! Besides being an amazing multi-platform plug-in, Massive is also the favorite synth for all kinds of EDM and Dubstep producers worldwide. Because of its vast feature set, it takes an experienced synthesist like Rishabh Rajan to reveal all of its not-so-obvious functions while simultaneously showing us just how to get those complex Dubstep sounds.
In this workflow-based course Rishabh programs Massive's bank of oscillators, filters and unique modulators while explaining the the details of synthesizing Blazing Leads, Ethereal Pads, wild Wobble Basses and more. But this isn't a simple course on basic synthesis. This course assumes that you already have the basics down and want to learn the advanced synth techniques that'll help you discover and deploy your own unique Dubstep sounds in your productions.
So if you're looking for a course on Massive that takes you deep behind NI's virtual faceplate or if you simply want to perfect your Dubstep sonic vocabulary, this course by Rishabh Rajan will help you accelerate your programming skills faster than the speed of sound!

Great Tutorial course on Massive MPV! great tips on how to create Dubstep sound. I don't have this plugin but thinking about getting it now, from seeing what it could do in the tutorial.
The exercises in drum synthesis and creative bass, pad and lead sculpting continually reinforce earlier lessons in fundamental signal flow. This really helped me to understand Massive.
thanks for this tutorial, i think maybe you can do some tutorial for massive more experimantal song like " transformer movie song" ? thanks ;)
Very Helpful. Thanks! I was hoping for something a bit more in-depth with some more sounds I could realistically use. Some of the sounds were very good but the rest were just....not good.
Absolutely amazing. After 2 years of using Massive, this tutorial still shows me there's much more under the hood to utilize in my own sound design. Highly recommend to all Massive users.
A great tutorial that really sets you off to experiment and explore further.
Awesome tutorial Rishabh, It pretty much covers everything you need to know about massive!!
I came to your web site after watching dozens of different YouTube videos with instructions for creating Monster Bass and Wobble Bass, including the one that has been seen over 843,700 times. I watched Rishabh Rajan's tutorial twice in a row over a few days. The second time, I felt that I was absorbing at a much deeper level. Then I went to Loopmasters and looked at some of their Massive Preset products. And... I didn't need them now, because I wanted to make my own, with or without industrial polish. Let it be noted: Rishabh truly rocks. The brisk speed of his teaching is well suited for the medium level Massive user, with a keen eye to detail. Go with the Pros.
Brilliantly covering a huge range in what Massive can do, all of which being very easy to understand. An excellent tutorial that would help all who understand the make up of synthesisors learn more about Massive!
F***in MASSIVE, this tutorial cover in depth quite everything....i love it! thanks MacProVideo and thanks Rajan!
Genius! I would love to see you do a step by step demo of how you build you dupstep tracks. Great work!
