Go deeper into Native instruments incredible Sampler, Kontakt ... Star NonLinear Educating instructor Scott Freiman shows you how!
In this video tutorial, composer and sound designer Scott Freiman goes in-depth into Native Instruments’ powerful Kontakt 4 sampler to show you how to create and modify your own sounds. Building on the material taught in Native Instruments 105: Exploring Kontakt, Scott covers the numerous sound sculpting features of Kontakt.
Scott takes you from the multi (a collection of Kontakt instruments) all the way down to the sample level. In between, you will learn how to edit samples and create new instruments with complex effects and multiple modulation sources. Special attention will be given to Beat Machine and Time Machine, tools for creating complex rhythmic patterns or other interesting sample manipulations - a fantastic way of morphing between sounds.
For new and experienced Kontakt users alike, Advanced Kontakt will make you a sampling master!

I was very pleased with this course and its predecessor. It covered a large range of Kontakt features and common needs without being too simple or too complex.
Good in depth look at Kontakt 4's advanced features and how everything fits together. Most of this is useful for Kontakt 5 users, but there are a few changes, like Instrument Buses.
Excellent breakdown of Kontakt. It was like taking the tinker toy box and opening it. Then learning how each part is used and using it.
Scott Freiman is my favorite mentor. He speaks clearly and his pronunciation is calm and professional. All details are explained. There is nothing i`v missed. I wish more tutorials from Scott !! All the best Markus
This is a great and very in depth guide of the advanced editing features in Kontakt. As someone who is new to software based synths and samplers this is all a bit overwhelming, but these videos are very easy to follow and the explanations are clear. Thank you for this awesome Kontakt class and please, scott Freiman, please continue making your awesomely helpful videos about Native Instruments products.
Learned a lot!! Made my way into Kontakt a lot easier!!
Really good stuff! Easy to follow and a nice pace. Good value for money.
Scott just made my way into Kontakt a lot easier. Good tutorial that really shows all the stuff you need to get going!
Very good video full of great lessons. This tutor delves deeper into this great sampler but keep the lessons easy to follow and exciting to watch. Great job
Kontaky=t is quite complex so i'm glad there is this resource to help me wade through it. Lot's to learn and every bit helps. Thanks
Very good easy to follow tutorial, this movie progresses through basic concepts to more complex structures and chains, key switching velocity fades, envelope followers and loads more. not much about scripting just a few pointers. I highly recommend this tutorial to any body who wants to get a thorough understanding of this incredible software. I used Kontakt for ages and struggled to achieve exactly what i wanted, but now i know i will be able to. Thank you MPV.
Really this was a very nice tutorial concise and intuitive. Scott really explains this thing well . I have had other Kontakt 4 tutorials and they were not good . This is as good as it gets .
excellent review. Basically everything you need to know is in there. It would have been nice if AET was explained though.
Excellent intermediate tutorial on Kontakt! Scott Freiman has such a clear and concise presentation style that you feel like you're learning a lot very quickly. He really draws you into the material. I'd like to see some more advanced Kontakt tutorials: one on scripting and one covering techniques used by professional Kontakt developers to create complex, realistic-sounding instruments.
Great tutorial. This was very thorough and informative. If you're looking to get the most out of Kontakt and are either a new Kontakt user, or even a intermediate user, then this is the video for you.
Great Tutorial for Kontakt..Highly recommend
Another great presentation. Every bit as good as 105. Only one issue - the talk track is disproportionately loud, unfortunately. I found myself riding the volume to bring up the audio examples. Other than that - great job!
Amazing, so easy to understand, straightforward... Scott does the best tutorials at macprovideo if you ask me, I have some 25 videos. Highly recommended, both this one and Exploring Kontakt! Thanks Scott!
Great pace, very easy to listen to covers a fair amount. I believe there is more to come on this tutorial so I would imagine by the end there will have been a great deal covered. Highly recommend anything that Scott Freiman does!
Hi, guys great videos, also is there any chance that you can make a tutorial on mixing the deep side of it, like mixing orchestral, mixing tips and tricks, etc, like take a whole project and mix it from the beginning to the end for example, also more on busses, sends also real life time examples and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A GREAT LESSONS
ok in addition to my last review i am happy to say they have added an additional 22 vidoes to the already 33 i have watched. This is great value and I'd like to give it 5 + stars if they would let me. If you use Kontakt you MUST watch this. Enjoy.
So far very impressed alot of easy to follow yet detailed video tutorials. Highly recommended. The funny thing is this says it isn't available yet but it downloaded with most of the videos and says there are more to come (it shows 33 videos so far) so its going to be interesting to watch the rest as i have already found this great.
