Still checking out the pro tools tutorials but so far so good i'am still on 7.4 and loveing it. the mac pro videos are great. thx
Excellent, Clear easy to follow and no gimmicks. The best for beginner and itamediate. Highly recommended
This training video series is outstanding. I really like the organization of the tutorials, their length and the use of the on-screen demonstration. Really superb!!
Basic tutorial 5+. Some lessons of importing/exporting OMF/AAF from/to Avid i hope i see some day.2-
This course is phenominal!!!!! I am only about halfway through it but I believe it is one of the best audio-related investments we have made!
I'm new to Pro Tools and this training video was VERY helpful. I was able to start recording and producing music by the time I reached the end of the course. I hope that there is a Pro Tools 8 and/or Advanced course in the works.
Una sencilla y clara forma que describe paso a paso todos los detalles básicos para utilizar con precisión Pro Tools7. Gracias.
I'm just about to buy protools so this tuition realy gave me a good understanding of how protools realy works. Thanks alot.
This disk is great. I did chose to download it my computer opposed to waiting for the disk and I had no problems. I've had protools for months, but really had trouble doing basic functions. There is so much potential and technology, but I really had no direction on how to use it. The lessons explain how to do basic stuff and so much more in an easy to understand, step by step manner. And whenever I have a question its easy to read through the titles and go back to the exact lesson that answers it.I love it. Definantly one of the best investments I've made.
Very, very helpful. Seeing is better than reading sometimes. Was able to understand and follow along.
It is a great video. I would change only 2 things: 1 - There are too many parts. As example, we have like 3 or 4 movies about the same subject. I would merge them into one, so we could keep the same subject on one single part. 2 - Because of the reason I mencioned before, we spend too much time watching that introdutory part, saying "Learning something, from someone, 4:13 minutes". I think that interrupts the learning process, and then it should be avoided. I hope that helps somehow. Best wishes
It's a good tutorial, a very basic one to start manipulating protools.
I am about to graduate from a audio recording school. I have learn more viewing the video than I have reading all of those books.
very well explained ,but as it deals with sound -education,please take more care of the sound: it sound not good at all :instead of using a cheap headphone micset, use a good condensor to do the voice over. Besides that : very good product and high quality info for a reasonable price.
I PAID FOR THE DOWNLOAD AND I NEVER GOT IT. ALSO DOWNLOAD THE NED PLAYER. I WAS PROMTED TO LOGIN AND THE LOGIN INFORMATION I CREATED DID NOT WORK. AFTER MAC PRO E-MAILED THE USER NAME AND PASSWORD, IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. BASICALLY I GOT JACKED FOR MY MONEY.
fantastic product !!! this tutorial will save me hours and hours of maual reading....;)
I've looked at several manuals, both in book form and video, and this is by far the best. It's concise and clear, and best of all, you're always looking at the exact same display that you use. I learned everything I need to know with this video.
I realy enjoyed watching these Pro Tools videos.., I found the Pro Tools 7 101, Mastering Pro tools 7 to be hjghly informative, clear., quite easy to understand and also well paced.. as i did the logic Pro 8 series.., im looking forward to maybe seeing some indepth vids on some of the Pro Tools plugins and softsynths.. keep up the awesome work... Detull
Very informative video I have learnt stuff from this video in two days that would probably have taken months to find out. Very happy I did this.
I am a user of a different DAW, but purchased this video because I teach ProTools at a private school. I found these tutorials to be well laid out and pretty comprehensive. However, this is definitely a 101 course. If you are someone who is used to recording on the computer, you may be left wanting more in-depth instruction on the features.
Great tutorial. Very informative and easy to digest. Good for beginners and great reference for experienced users.
Paul does an excellent job explaining in a clear, concise, an interesting fashion, the "how-to" of learning pro-tools. This would suit a beginner-intermediate user perfectly. In addition, N.E.D is a brilliant interface that works quite smoothly. I would HIGHLY recommend this program.
It's the best tutorial, and has helped me understand pro tools in a better way than before. I started working at a studio that has pro tools hd, with a friend of mine that has showed me little about it. Basically I was thrown in the fire. But, I really wanted a better understanding of it. So, yes this is the best, and I look forward to being a master at pro tools sooner than I thought.
This video is the best. I am an experienced engineer but I have learned a great deal from watching this video. Any person that is recording should watch this video. You'll be glad you did.
This Video Tutorial is just First Class! Easy to follow Chapters. There is a lot of 'pops' and 'wind noise' on the voice, and thats the only negative to complain about.
very well done, I like the shorter video's just more of them. very well done. I will buy more.
Im finding the tutorials very helpful and easy to understand. keep it up pete
I have watched half of the Pro Tools tutorial, and I find it very good. Everything is presented in a clear, easy- to understand way (even when things get hard to understand, the teacher also makes that clear). Looking forward to getting my own Pro Tools program and try out everything!
Well, I must say I am very excited about this new Protools tutorial. It is very clear and easy, extremely easy to understand. I cound not believe it. I wished I could have had this tutorial a year ago, oh well....The organization of the sections on the tutorial really helps the flow of the material, it is really good for beginners, especially since there is so much information to grasp. Paul does it in the most clear and concise manner for anyone to understand. Paul's explanations are well stated and are not intimidating. I could not be more happy with the tutorial. Thanks - its everything that MacPro promises and more. The best thing is that I get to watch it over and over as many times as I need to. ProTools is the best in independent music production, and MacPro is the leader in instructional media for those who want to master their skills.
Awesome Paul! I'm used to the fine details you're put in your tutorials, I would give you a 7 on this one but the rate's only five. I know Protools for years, but this is very important on how to make it very easy and understandable to new users. This a 101 tutorial you won't find the "fancy show off stuff" here, only simple information that covers PT from top to bottom to know the program and start "walking" on the spot. Full marks!!! More than 5 hours (and 20 minutes). If you're new to PT and are lost; buy it this will be your GPS! Paul keep making them and I'll keep buying! :o) Kindly Regards, Jorge
I find that the MacProVideos are a great way to learn about a programme without having to go through the long, and often tedious process of reading manuals, They take away the time consuming trial and error and practice that is often needed to cement knowledge and that also often results in gaps in knowledge, with important parts of a programme remaining undiscovered for a very long time. MacProVideos maintain a consistent and high standard of delivery that can be watched as often as needed to ensure a full understanding of the topic and I am now hooked on this method of learning.
