In this tutorial, G.W. Childs, one of the original Combinator sound designers for Reason 3 and Reason 4 will give you step by step examples detailing the ‘ins and outs’ of the Combinator, while showing you how to create powerful, new Combinators using hot new instruments like Kong.

You'll get in-depth examples of how to design your own elaborate and powerful instruments by combining instruments and FX together. Additionally, you’ll learn how to create your own FX presets by combining loads of different FX devices. You’ll even get cool examples in how to remix your own tracks using the Combinator!

This tutorial is packed with knowledge!!! G.W breaks the info down so simple that even a kid can understand!!! I didn't realize how powerful the Combinator!!! this was a straight blessing!!!!

This tutorial is very indepth and fast paced. You'll really need to watch this a few time. A lot of information is crammed in and it's a real treasure trove. The only point of criticism I have is on the quality of the video. MacProVideo markets this video as HD, but to be honest I was expecting a higher quality than what is offered now. Personally I would not call it HD, but this may be a matter of opinion. This does not mean you shouldn't get this video if you really want to learn more about the combinator. The content of the course itself is first class as is its presenter. So I am stil giving it a 5.

This is a great tutorial perhaps the best I have seen on Macprovideo.com period! There are a few things to note though though that are just my opinions: This is not for beginners. G.W. goes very fast so fast at times that he makes some mistakes along with some weird screen recording gafs that can be forgiven if you are advanced enough in using the software to make up for some of the gaps that I think are assumed you should know. I really like that he moves fast and challenges you to keep up like a pro but you have been warned.. There were a few other minor things as well but not enough to not give this 5 stars. Nowhere else on the internet will you find so much information to take your Reason skills to the next level. Highly recommended...

This is a brilliant tutorial, and I'm extremely glad I bought it. A minor point is the lack of Windows 7 64 bit support, but this does not at all detract from the quality and usefulness of the tutorial. I mean - this is the guy that helped develop the Combi!!

I had no idea how much the combinator had to it till I watched this video! I will need to watch the tutorial many many times to grasp all of the info made in this video, I love having a teacher at my disposal 24 hrs. I love these tutorials and I am NOT on a MAC!
