A solid introduction to the subject. It not only explains the basics in a clear, concise manner, but by using Logic and its tools helps introduce you to aspects of Logic you might not have known.

I ordered 9 different tutorials, covering various aspects of Logic. Though my music is primarily acoustic based, I found something in each one that opened up a whole new world . I'm a first time user of Logic, and was at first overwhelmed by the sheer content of the program. But after my first tutorial, (Logic 101) I was soon on my way too recording my first track. Very good tutorial, that contains a lot of info as a prerequisite to using soft synths. It could use a little updating, but still informative nonetheless.

Again very pleased with this video. I have read many books on sound, but to see things visual in the context of logic and also a bit of soundtrack pro. Very useful. Thanks. Am marking 4 just to be a bit greedy and hope there is room for improvement. Thing is, there is so much info in these videos, need to see them a few times for it to really sink in. Great!

This is a good tutorial, but I have to be honest - I wish more had been covered. There is a lot of information in relation to how pink (and white) noise are affected, and this is very good information presented in Steve's inimitable way making things clear to see and easy to understand, but it would have been much better had it also contained examples of practical applications of the same concepts. Some practical applications are given later in the tutorial - I wish it had been so from the beg...

This tutorial is a great fundamental lesson on sound and how it works. It is not too technical for people like me, but still does an excellent job in gaining an understand and getting it! Thank you, Steve Horelick for making this tutorial fun and easy to understand for boneheads like me. Could you perhaps do a tutorial on song arrangement and mixing or mastering with electronic music like drum and bass. If you present it like SOUND, then there no stopping me. HAHA!

This is highly recommended for everyone involved in music production. I have been playing & recording for decades and found the training interesting, refreshing & entertaining.

Very good, and helps understand the bones of music. I enjoyed this thoroughly and it is a good companion to the plug in video.

A great and logical progression of sound explanation

A blessing from heaven. These tutorials needs to be owned by everyone in the business including those of us with college degrees in the business. I WOULD PAY 5 TIMES MORE FOR THE SAME PRODUCT IF ASKED. On point and to the point. Simple language down to the finest detail. Just awesome. Now Logic will for ever be part of my life after quite a few successful years with Protools, cubase, DP etc... keep it up. Rating: 5 X x

Found the "Sound and how its made" video package very interesting and educational. There were a lot of things that I knew but never really knew why(if you know what I mean) the video confirmed a lot of these things to me in a different way. I liked the quick easy to understand and take in tutorials and look forward to the Plugins vids.

Learning about the theoretical aspects of sound can be quite overwhelming; what with all the jargon that tends to go with it. These tutorials put an end to all that by approaching the subject from a practical point of view. A gentle learning curve ensures that the videos are easy to follow. Highly useful and entertaining! Useful for Logic users, Musicians, Teachers and people who are interested in the phenomenon of Sound in General! Steve Horelick manages to include a wealth of information in an easy to follow way, and yet it isn't dry or theoretical/technical. Highly recommended.
