These are fantastic videos! please film more. WaveLab is the most confusing software ever, and this guy teaches it very effectively. I would have preferred a more detailed description of audio language with regard to peak levels, average levels, etc. That is a very subjective thought.
I bought these 3 tutorials. They are very clear but I recommended it for very beguiners only. I was expecting more deeper explainations. There is also to much repetitions despite is lovely voice. I'm french, sorry for my english
Wonderful tutorial. Well explained, logically presented, and all of the examples are immediately useable for anyone aspiring to become a professional in the field.
The best think i've ever spent money on for my computer I bought tutorial 101, 102, 103 I fined the tutorials a great help when using WaveLab 7 thanks
I have watched all of Matthew's tutorials and they are very step-by-step and easy to follow. His presentations are extremely clear and this introduction to mastering tutorial is no exception. Great job!
Great introduction as the title says! Well Done! Looking forward to more "insights" of WaveLab!
I've viewed the Intro to mastering in WaveLab7 and found it very well explained. Sound and video quality excellent. Instructor knowledgeable and knows software well. Just found the Intro training limited in the sense that there should be additional training courses for this software. Also, should include how how to convert a 96 Khz sample rate to 44.1.
Very useful even if my primary interest is not mastering per se. I'd like to see follow-up material on the more generic editing tasks with tips on how best to use the Process features -- tips including their limitations or, more interesting, their opportunities for experimentation of discovery. As an electronic music composer, I'm more into the creative possibilities, including montage for creating pieces. Also, relationships between Wavelab and other Steinberg products, e.g., Cubase, Halion...
This is just such a great tutorial! Please make sure you make more in depth tutorials on Wavelab 7 soon. That is what´s missing out there! I´m keeping my fingers crossed that there will be one of these here on MPV early this summer!!
Man this was great!!!! please, please, please give us more!! this is the only place we can this info. like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!
Makes a complex program easier for me to use. Identifying the main functions from a practical angle adds to the clarity. I would purchase any future tutorials that looked at the different sections /plug ins in depth. Any thoughts on producing a TC Electronic Finaliser guide?
Like some of the other reviewers I had long awaited Ask's video tutorial on Wavelab and I have to say I did enjoy it and find it helpful in some ways and I'm not sorry I bought it. However ,Matthew's I have to be honest was better. I've been using Wavelab to do some things for quite some time but I can see now I was doing it wrong. Matthew's approach gave me a real insight into the way to use things correctly e.g. the Master section and the montage window. In fact if I'm honest I'm surprised I've been getting the results I was and it's more a testament to the quality of Wavelab than my ability. I am now confident that working the way Mathew's tutorial teaches I will have excellent results. (I will have to watch it many more times to take it all in). Please MacPro let him make some in depth videos on the power of Wavelab, you already have one guaranteed customer. And if anyone reading this doesn't know it Mathew has extensive tutorials on Cubase and they are awesome.
Just great! I hope more lessons for Wavelab if possible, thanks for this.
This is a absolutely outstanding title! I would love for you guys to delve deeper into this deep and wide editor. We need more!
Very good! Please make more videos about Wavelab.
Matthew's tutorial of Wavelab 7 is the real deal. He's written a book on Wavelab 7 now he's performed and presented the best tutorial on the subject. "Ask Video's" version is stiff and lacks the personal touch musicians relate to and a sensitive instructor provides his students. There are only five stars, this instructor and his tutorials Cubase and Wavelab 7 deserve ten (10).
"The Wavelab 7 tutorial is what I have been waiting for and more. Matthew again shows he is the "Guru" of tutorials. He has confirmed what I know about Wavelab and more. This is a long awaited series and a must see by Pros and enthusiast great and small. Thanks Matthew for this buffet of knowledge, no one else could have given this tutorial as you. You continue to, with passion, instruct those of us who have a desire to learn the tools of the industry.
very good and helpful tutorial.
