Great tutorials with A LOT more information than I would have expected! I was only using maybe 10% of what was possible Wordpress before watching this. The light is on now! Great job!

Really enjoyed this tutorial. Despite the fact that WordPress is now at a later release than the one in this tutorial, pretty much everything is 100% relevant and accurate. Geoff has an enthusiastic, pleasant and relaxed style and covers topics with patience. A terrific start with WordPress.

There's a lot to cover for wordpress, and Geoff did a good job making sure we start off right. For total beginners, you may find a lot of materials and questions left unanswered, as Geoff briefly introduced some lessons on graphic design (i.e. photoshop, illustrator, and computer image properties). Some of those lessons may be intimidating to some beginners, but Geoff still explained them quite well. So if you didn't understand everything, that's fine as long as you can still perform the exact operations Geoff showed you in the videos. Some of those stuff will come to you later. Instead of using Google to help you get started with wordpress, this tutorial by macprovideo is really the way to go ;)

Great enthusiasm for web design. I liked the history of web design that was mentioned throughout and how Wordpress really is powerful. We're lucky to have it. We're also lucky to have this tutorial to learn the ropes SO FAST! I'm already gliding through my own website. I look forward to the sequel. I hope it dives into plug-ins more!

The best part of this review for me was learning how to install the thing! Oddly complicated. So this was a great walk through. After that it pretty much went over pretty basic and obvious things if you've ever worked with computers, social networks, blogging, and basic website making. Then again, I suppose as it is an introductory tutorial you have to go over that stuff. He was very good about not going to fast. I pick up on things fairly quickly though so it was at times boring. But I've noticed that about most tutorial vides and I suppose it is better to go slow than to move too quickly. Lastly, there were some minor things like mistakes that weren't edited out and missing project files that should have but didn't come with the tutorial. It didn't have an effect on my learning though. I was hoping to get into more customization which this doesn't get into. It sounds like he has that tutorial though and I hope macprovideo adds it to their collection. I'd buy it.

I have only used it (wordpress tutorial) for basic stuff so far. Looking forward to bigger challenges and solutions. Quality is first rate. Another hit as far as I'm concerned. Thanks.
