Geoff Blake obviously knows his subject through and through and, at one third to one half the length, this tutorial would be awesome. As it stands, it's just very good. Geoff (and MacProVideo.com, apparently) take a very casual attitude toward this tutorial: it's unedited and largely off-the-cuff, and you can tell. In addition, most of the section titles describe the succeeding section, so they're off-by-one (potentially confusing, and very poor for cherry picking content or/and basic review). Nevertheless, Geoff Blake is a very gifted instructor and generous with his information, so patient viewers do get a sense of an expert's own trials and tribulations with the material he teaches --- a bit of real-world insight. Geoff is also very good about demonstrating and showing his progress, resulting in very clear presentation. However, a tighter polished tutorial of the same presentation would be better (shorter by about 1/2 - 2/3 the length in instruction time). Recommended for content (but not polish).

This is a great tutorial to get an total CSS Dummie, like me, to work! After watching Geoff's HTML Basics, to get into it again, i couldn't wait to watch and learn the "Designing CSS Floating Layouts". Easy to follow for Newbies, without needing a Web Programming Software. I like the fact that Geoff is showing it in a easy and fast way, so that everyone can start from scratch. The hand coding technique is helping a lot, to learn and remember all the different properties. After browsing the web for such a long time to find good Tutorials which could show me the basics of CSS, i finally found it here. And i always thought i would never be able to learn this. ;) Thank you, another great Tut from you guys.
