This was very well done. Paul has a very good broadcasting voice and diction.
His relaxed style makes it very easy to listen and learn.

Good enough for me to go back and buy the next one (especially given the relatively inexpensive price)! Takes Apple's video tutorials to an appropriate next level.

Lucid, adequately detailed, helpful and in no way patronising or intimidating. A superb introduction and an encouraging to buy more of your modestly priced products. ```i am an odd fish in computer music making as I stick to classical music, to the Orchestral instrument JamPack and make no use whatever of loops. I play the piano a bit, know how to harmonise but am woefully ignorant of orchestration. I you wanted a suggestion, I would like more advice on midi editing and on choosing which combination of orchestral instruments to
select. I have also enjoyed the free switcher tutorials and look forward to something on Logic Express. Many thanks and congratulations.

It is very informative, well paced with clearly
defined progressions. One thing that could be added for complete beginners is a keyboard display window that refers to the instructors actions. These actions are spoken but not displayed on the current edition, particularly when they use Keyboard shortcuts etc. Other than that, this customer is very happy with the product

Very informative and easy to follow.

I was hoping for some instruction on using the Advanced features of - expression, foot control, modulation, pitchbend. etc. but did not see it. Maybe I just missed and will need to go back through the tutorial.

It would be helpful to me to see a tutorial that had examples using GarageBand for orchestral music with the Apple Symphony Orchestra Jam Pack.

Thanks for your help.

Very very good. Very useful with all sorts of little tips and techniques that I can see myself using and best of all I can go back, easily find the info I want and check it out again.

The one thing that I thought was left out was how to use the retake tracks in the piece I am working on. How to make them is shown but not how to select the particular one I want and get rid of the old one.

I love your tutorial

Thank you for this great instructional video. It made it very easy for me to learn garageband on a step by step basis. There were video lessons that taught me things that I had never even seen demonstrated at the Apple store.

If you make a GarageBand 201, I would love to see a song being built from scratch ie: picking the drum loops to create a whole drum track(pick up, verse, chorus and fills). Loops for bass parts and different options of instruments and where to add them in a song. It would be very helpful for those of us who are songwriters and want to know better how to communicate our songs.

Thanks again.

I feel your company has the best tutorials on the market with more detail and a contextual approach in line with more of a "how to do" instructional product. Your competitors' products tend to be too much of an expose' of what is in the DAW than why and how to use its components. In each of your products I have viewed, your instructors have taken much more time to demonstrate comprehensively these aspects. This is how I learn best.
Finally, what makes your product of the utmost superiority is the quality customer service provided by your staff...
Despite a policy which did not provide for both DVD and download of your tutorials, I was allowed an exception, and was able to arrive at a recording session with the proficiency required to make it a success despite the fact that I had to be in three SE Asian countries prior to my DVD delivery date! You guys are the best!

The presentation is very clear and well-thought-out and Mr Garay has a great teaching voice, with a slightly humorous inflection. I learned more in the first half hour than I did in weeks of doodling around on my own. I look forward immensely to getting the Protools tutorial.
Thank you all.
