Like the tutorial, like I actually always do. It's easy, he really takes time to explain things. Maybe the only thing missing is a quick recap of the most important subjects, at the end of the tutorial.

Ofcourse, you can always look back when the tutorial is finished, but a quick overview would be the perfect ending. This way all subjects really stick into the mind. I tend to forget a lot, because there are so many chapters...

But that's just an idea...

Keep it up guys!

I bought LP8 several months ago, and I set it aside in favor of my familiar tool, the on-board workstation on my Korg M3. But now I have to use LP8 because I need to start to lay down live tracks on top of MIDI on my projects. I know it is a powerful tool, but I simply did not have time or money to learn this tool. When I saw a forum post about MacProvideo, I skeptically checked it out. The site was great because I was able to sample the video, and I immediately bought 3 of the videos on a bundle package. This Master Class video provided me with understanding of advanced features and how to use them, like adjusting tempo grids to freely played tracks (pretty freaky you can actually do this by the way!) and many other details on how to call up the full power of LP8. The great thing is that you see how to do these things, and hear how they sound before and after the changes, and you can grasp the concept immediately which is so hard to do with just reading the manual. I will most likely end up buying most of the LP8 videos. With each video no more than $50.00, I think it is a best tuition you will pay for the course of this detail and caliber of instructors you get. And of course you can refer back to any part of it on the same Mac you are doing your work with LP8.

obviously with all the videos i purchased
i like your stuff. i really want to get certified in logic(i mentioned a head injury and how i
need videos to teach myself. this master class is better than awesome. very precise and exactly what i need. I've gotten pretty far for being so disabled from a brain injury.
when i go to my one on one concierge, a lot of the time i'm asking questions that they didn't know the program was capabale of but i picked up from your tnt's. i feel real comfortable with these guys who teach logic at at the apple store. I took my 301 class with steve h and enjoyed it very much, i suggest the guys at apple get there hands on your videos or make it part of there curriculum, keep up the good work

This was a great video. Very helpeful in a lot of ways.
The only problem is that a lot of the triks n tips in this one do not relate to logic pro 7. Bummer for me...
But on the overall, a good video highliting even more great feauteres in Logic, and working
with MIDI.
Keep up the good work.

A little treat each month.

Logic is full of little nooks and crannies and this series addresses a number of these. I like the pace (a little bit at a time) and I like the freedom this format gives to Steve H to cover some of the esoterica of Logic.

The organisation, pace, and delivery of the tutorials is very good, as is usual for MacProVideo.com products. Most useful (to me) were the videos on side chaining, layering, and the playable EQ. I watched the others with interest and may yet actually use this information. The cameos are a nice feature: it's very interesting to note the differences and similarities in how different people approach making music.

I find myself turning to the MacProVideo.com tutorials rather than the Logic manual to refresh my memory about Logic features. A very useful adjunct to the videos (especially the subscription and master class videos) would be an index of topics.

I've watched all the Logic training videos, including the TNT series, and I wasn't sure whether the depth of content in this series would differentiate it from the other tutorials.

I needn't have worried. This Master Class video lives up to its name. Steve covers a lot of fresh material and makes the difficult easy to understand in his inimitable style. It's all good, but PDC, the Transform window, and Beat Mapping alone make it worth it.

Highly recommended.

I can't find anything bad to say about this video. These type of training videos set the bar as far as I'm concerned! It's very exciting to learn so many new ways to approach production using Logic. I received my degree in Production and Engineering from Berklee 20 years ago and every single day I'm still learning something new about this amazing craft! Thank you for an excellent product.

Excellent tutorial. The section on the transformer was worth it's weight in gold. Steve has a real knack for explaining things and having it make sense. I Can't wait for more tutorials from you guys. I own all the Logic ones and love them all.

I bought this vid and I think it's worth every penny. The three main features that make me say this are the beat mapping - so cool, the PDC stuff (eye opening) and the transform window tutorials. You just don't get this kind of information from the manuals and it just saves you sooo much time it's unbelievable. Steve is great at getting his point across in a humorous way. Highly recommended.

Really good tutorial, the best yet for me! This is the sort of stuff I want which doesn't focus too much on midi instruments etc which is not what I do mostly! How to get the best out of a folk/jazz/classical recording situation is what really interests me!

Everything that I have bought from Mac pro video has been, simply put.The best.Unlike most "know it all" videos that subject you to "listening to crappy music in there examples while they attempt to "teach" you something, mac pro offers a very well thought out method with great instructors.Unless you an idiot with less that a thimble full of brains, you will gain plenty of info from anything you guys have done.
It would be nice to have some form of index system though.Sometimes when i forget something its hard to remember where exactly and on what video I saw it.

This training video is great. I want to use Logic in a RocknRoll context so acoustic drum editing is a plus. The only bummer is the drum tracks were slim. No toms. No overheads. These are the tough elements to edit. I avoid editing drums as much as possible but sometimes you gotta.

Wow, can it get any better? Once again thank you Steve for making a break through for me. As a beginner, in the long road to mastering Logic Studio, you have given us , valuable tools; practices in setting up a groove,a song, a layout foundation for creating a better ideas. Markers within the tutorials where just paramount for me. Of all the training till now, by far this has made a Essential contribution in my forward development. Once again I CAN clearly see why you are the master!

Like a good book, I couldn't put it down! The sections on strip silencing audio into segments, and then quantizing that audio are priceless!
