I'm a big fan of the MacProVideo tutorials. Martin Sitter has that essential ingredient as a teacher - an infectious enthusiasm for the subject.

As a teacher of children aged between 7 and 11 I can tell you that he pitches his teaching style just right - not too fast, not condescending and full of handy tips to get you up and running in no time at all.

Having watched the whole of this tutorial over a weekend, I pitched right in and made my own video using Final Cut Express - there's no way I could have done this without the skills I picked up from Martin.

The best endorsement I can give this particular tutorial is that I've risen from the humble iMovie to the mighty Final Cut Pro in just a week having watched it.

My copy of FCP has just been delivered so I'm off to view this tutorial all over again - which of course is the beauty of this kind of resource.

Incidentally, the after sales support that you get with MacProVideo is absolutely first rate - quick, friendly and personal- unlike anything I've ever encountered from a web-based retailer.

Once again, well done Martin!!

I'm an editor in the process of getting my FCP5 certification and I bought your “FCP5 complete” tutorials in order to get a re-fresher before
taking the exam. On the strength of the online tutorials I have now bought FCP,Motion and DVD Pro downloads.

What I like most of all is that you put in lots of tips that none of the other company's training DVDs appear to mention. Also the footage that’s used is easy on the eye. The picture is clear and the pace is very well judged with elements repeated slightly differently so that the viewers attention is held whilst the information being passed on is reinforced.

I have now watched nearly all of the macProVideo tutorials for Final Cut Pro and the Logic suite. They present an amazing amount of information edited down into a compact time-frame, with an emphasis on practical techniques and real-world applications. Although I had used both Logic and Final Cut before watching the tutorials, in many aspects of both programs I was a complete beginner, and your tutorials were accessible and intelligible to me from the start. On the other hand, I still found your tutorials to provide valuable insights in those aspects of both applications that I thought I knew the most about, and in many cases I watched them more than once. So the signal to noise ratio in these tutorials is huge, without being overwhelming for the beginner. The high resolution also makes the videos extremely easy on the eyes, so that one may focus on the instruction without being distracted. They are great to keep on hand to watch just before I attempt something new for the first time. I can't wait for the next modules to be released.... Congratulations, and keep up the great work!

Just a quick note to let you know how great I think your tutorial videos are. Last week I purchased and downloaded the Final Cut Pro 5 tutorials. Martin Sitter does a great job of clearly and concisely explaining Final Cut from start to finish. Great job Martin. The $49.99 price is a perfect and affordable price point too.

I will be back for more!

With Final Cut Studio Installed i decided to learn to use the programs effeciently. I thus bought your Final Cut tutorial then it was announced. Diane´s Final Cut Final Cut Pro 5 book. Lisa Brennies Final Cut Pro 5 book and started to go through Diane´s toturials. Your videos and Lisa´Book has been great backups as the provided me with a quick way of seeing or reading how to do certaint things quick and easily.

Your decription of how to use nested sequences really saved me from a lot of frustation and I have used your make your own keyboard layout quit a lot.

I'm really enjoying the training videos & I'm getting a lot out of them - even more than I'd hoped for.

I'm gaining in confidence as the gaps I had using Logic are now being filled, and Logic is finally becoming transparent.

That deeper understanding with hints, tricks, and solid working methods is exactly what I was looking for. Well done.

I love your model. The DVD training videos are such a hassle. I don't want to look at the trainer's face, I want to watch the screen the entire time!

You guys have instant downloads, plus I only really learn programs if I see the methodology on the screen. Your speaking style (like your writing in your books) is great, and I can't wait for more of your lessons. The FCP module was so enjoyable, I'm letting everyone here at work know about your company.

The tutorials have really helped. Final Cut Express seemed a little overwhelming at first. I had only done a small amount of work in iMovie before this. No video editing experience at all really. I've gotten a lot out of it.

Great Job - Keep up the good work -- I've used FCP since version 1.0 and Toaster Flyer before that, but I am still Learning a lot -- Also this is a great learning tool for my new Employees, saves me a lot of teaching time.

I am so glad I downloaded your tutorials! I was looking for a "crash course" in FCP and your programs have proved to be so much more. I really appreciate the depth you go into. I now understand why learning each step is important, since the processes intertwine as you use more advanced functions.

Overall, your stuff rocks. Keep up the great work, your enthusiasm and artist's sensibility makes learning these powerful tools a pleasure. I've enjoyed your books a lot too, but you seem to cut loose a bit more in this medium ..... good times!

Awesome lessons Martin!! I feel like by the time I get your last module on FCP 5....I'll be almost Apple certified :) I really am glad I found your site!!!

It really has made a HUGE difference. I suck at buying books and learning. I need to see!!! Plus I like that you do not talk to your customers like we're seven years old. He...he...he... I've bought learning videos and I literally sold them because the teacher talks to the student like we're kids. You ROCK man!!!!

The first FINAL CUT PRO module is awesome! I've been dabbling with the program for a few years now (Im a Media 100 editor), but your first training session made me determined to permanently switch.
