“ Its good,but I haven finished yet,but at first I did not the ultrabeat at all because I did not like the sounds in it.But started diging into the sloftware and began to make it work.Now when I use logic I use ultrabeat only,now that understand it more.Iam still into tutorialand. When can put your drums into the software its . Can you delete all the drums to build a new set? ”

So far I have purchased Logic 101 "Mastering Logic" with Martin & 204 Ultrabeat Unleashed with Steve H. and have found both invaluable. Both instructors are very knowledgeable & down to earth. The webpage is easy to navigate, and purchasing and downloading is a breeze. I have also visited & downloaded loops from Audiobase.com with the same positive results. Price is VERY fair for what you receive. I plan on getting "Synthesis with Sculpture" next.

For me, the audio was very low. I had to crank up the volume to hear the voices and sounds that were being tweeked.

Some aspects were a little too technical for me since I am not too keen on oscillators and modulators.

Overall a great video. I am now more comfortable using this instrument as opposed to being scared to even want to take the time to try it. ”

I thought the geography, modulator and via sections to be extremely helpful. I took screenshots of the VIA rules and the parameter hierarchy (global, pattern, step, etc) Very useful.

The new things i learned that i didn't pick up in the manual (i'm a manual reader) were the ease of constructing new presets from lots of disparate other presets, voices and sequencers ..that is GOLD!!

COULD BE BETTER:
The filter section (until he got to it midway) was a bit unclear, especially in light of WHERE the oscs + noise are MIXED before going to the EQ + output. ”

My new favorite instrument, I own a Roland Mv8000 Production/Drum Machine with 16 drum pads, much like the AKAI MPC series but better, and it now sits and will collect dust, Why? Ultrabeat is like having 24 pads for drum and the 25th pad as a full piano roll. Just wanted to say that when I first bought my Apple G5 and logicpro, I was very worried that I would not be up and running quickly. I stumbled on your site and downloaded Martin's Understanding the Enivironment the same day that I had an appointment with the so called certified LogicPro specialist at my local apple store. needless to say I have not been back to that guy and I have almost every video you guys have made for logic and reason's. I review them often and alway learn something new. the last one I downloaded was the Ultrabeat Unleashed, I've owned logic for over a year and had not really been using Ultrabeat so I wanted to find out how powerful it was and got your video. I was very impressed and started working on some tracks using this plugin right away. I only wish he spent more time on the use of using your own Samples, like hip hop producer use thier Akai MPC's. but overall I alway reccommend you guys to everone.

But after viewing Ultrabeat Unleased i have now dumped Battery and am using Ultrabeat exclusively. This is a great video which covers every aspect of Ultrabeat and it sure beats reading the manual! ”
