“ I enjoyed this guide; the conversational tone and the interaction between two characters nicely counterpoints the switches between operating systems and helps bring forward similarities and differences between Mac OS X and Windows XP. The use of Parallels is probably necessary for video continuity and due to the use of the specific screen recording program, but adds some elements to the UI that are extraneous to Windows, and therefore may result in lower confidence for new OS X users.

The features covered are comprehensive, if sometimes a bit lacking in depth (see for example the chapter on application installation); but ultimately the cost/benefit ratio is excellent - this is one free product I am happy to recommend. ”
