Excellent! These videos made learning this machine a lot easier (and quicker) than reading a manual. My confidence and familiarity with the Digitone have grown really quickly.

This was among the first Logic tutorials I watched when I was a Logic noob, and rewatching it some 11 years later was just as informative in a different way: I focused on the more advanced topics that suit my current needs. This topic should be top priority for everyone starting with a new DAW, especially Logic. The answers to many questions you’ll have in the first few years of using Logic are answered here, and many bits of info you never knew you needed are here too, explained simply and directly by an always entertaining and engaging instructor. Highly recommended!

Great class. Not to slow, not too fast, just right. Very well presented. I have much more confidence now than when I first loaded up Logic Pro.

A really good course for getting standard house sounds with Logic. A few notes for people trying it out in 2024. When using Ultrabeat with Logic 10.7.4 (and presumably later versions too), there are a few differences nowadays. The main issue I had was that when I load Ultrabeat, it doesn't load with the default kit shown on the video, so I had to search around for sounds. Also, Ultrabeat only allows you to change volume of individual sounds with the scroll wheel of the mouse nowadays. For the M1 organ sound, you can use the B3 organ, but download the EVB3 set of presets from earlier Logics (can find these online on forums) and use the 'House Bass' preset.

Great course! I’d love to see an update talking about using NDI to bring in other video sources with out the need for more capture cards as well as using Streamdeck-type devices. An advanced course might even include using external video switchers to consoldate multiple cameras into a single input stream.
