We are thrilled to announce something big. Huge... HD! Thanks to your feedback, our tutorial WebPlayer
has been completely redesigned from the ground up by our talented web team. And believe me, it rocks!
A Cleaner interface
The first thing you will notice is the new streamlined interface. It's easier than ever to navigate through our library by browsing genres and popular topics, or by entering a search query. All recently released tutorials are prominently displayed for your convenience so you can't miss what's new.
The new WebPlayer Welcome screen.
Fill your screen!
Fullscreen video has been one of the most requested feature for our NED.web player. I'm pleased to tell you that you can now stream all our tutorials in fullscreen directly in our HD WebPlayer. Even better, it's now possible to view the tutorials in all their HD glory! To do this, you simply need to click on the "HD" button while watching a tutorial. Our most popular titles are already available in HD, and more are being added over the following weeks.
Fullscreen and HD modes are now supported.
Where was I?
There's only 24 hours in a day and unfortunately, most of us can't spend them all watching macProVideo courses. There's so much to learn, but so little time! Admittedly, it's not always possible to watch an entire tutorial in one go. Would it be handy if our HD WebPlayer would remember where you left off in a tutorial? Our web team thought of that!
When you log in your account you will see a "Resume" button in the top left-hand corner of the window. Just click on it and presto! Your last viewed video will start to play.
Continue watching right from where you left off.
Additionally, you have easy access to all recently viewed titles in the "Recently Watched" section. Simply click on a title and press "Resume" to watch the tutorial where you left. Nifty!
To give you more valuable screen estate, the tutorial table of contents is now hidden from view by default. You can either click on the "Outline" button or on the "Show Outline" tab to reveal it. Videos that you've not yet watched will have a dot beside them, very useful if you don't watch tutorials linearly.
To hide the Outline menu simply click on the background of the browser or on the “Hide Outline” tab.
The new contents outline that gets out of the way.
Notes, Favorites and History
See that notepad icon below the player? You've guessed it! It's now possible to take notes while watching a tutorial. You only need to start typing... our HD WebPlayer will save your notes automatically to the video as you write them.
Write notes to yourself about a video or topic while watching.
To save a video in your favorites, click on the star button below the web player or in the Outline pane. For quick access, your Favorites, Notes and your viewing History are all available at the top of the HD WebPlayer interface.
Favorites, Notes & History help you find the exact video you want when you want it!
Give it a try!
At macProVideo.com, we are constantly improving the way we offer our ever growing tutorial library. We're very excited about our new HD WebPlayer and we hope it will make your learning experience even more rewarding than before! Please give it a try and let us know your thoughts below!
Editor's Note: The new WebPlayer is fully HTML5 compliant. Please make sure you're running the latest version of your browser to enjoy all the advanced features. We've also built-in a "Flash fallback" so older, non-HTML5 compliant browsers can benefit from the advanced features.
