"Time keeps on slippin' ... into the future ..." those are some of the truest words ever sung into a song. Today macProVideo.com turns 6! It amazes me we've come so far ...

In the last 6 years we've published over 220 tutorial programs containing over 600 hours of videos by trainers I feel are the best in the industry. We've gone from a niche site catering to training for Mac Pro Apps, to the industry's largest dedicated Mac training site, and the #1 place where Mac users learn.

If I had to say what I feel sets us apart from the rest, it's the fact that we are not simply a tutorial company that only makes videos, like all of our competition ... macProVideo.com is a technology company that also makes high-quality software training. We put a lot of time and effort into innovating in our field of expertise. We make software that provides a superior user experience when it comes to learning how your computer works, and that makes all the difference!

With 6 years under our belt, it's my promise to you, our members, that our history of innovation will continue into the future. In the last year we created a novel system for publishing content to the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. That system is called "appOmator" and we use it to publish our tutorials as stand alone iPad and iPhone apps you can download to your mobile device and take anywhere you need to go. There's over 70 of our tutorials currently available for iPad and iPhone, and we release new tutorial apps to these platforms on a monthly basis.

We've recently expanded the appOmator platform for our tutorial production and we are now making stand-alone Mac OS Tutorial Apps you can purchase directly from the Mac OS App store. Indeed, we've already released 4 Mac OS Tutorial Apps, and we have big plans to expand into this area. If you're interested, check out our beachhead into the Mac OS App store by visiting the links below:

The big news for us in the year ahead is our new Retail Program. We've created a beautiful recyclable boxed product that contains an access code to the Online Tutorial Library. This product will be on the shelves of your local music/software/mac stores soon, so if you're one of those people that does not like to buy things online, you'll be able to walk into places like your nearest Guitar Center and purchase access to our library over-the-counter using cash. Indeed, Guitar Center is an anchor retailer for us, and our products will be on their store shelves by the end of March.

On this note, if you have connections with a local retailer, please send them to our site to check out our retail program ... we want to include them!

Finally, I'd like to take a moment to discuss the thing I'm most proud of, and that is our Tutorial Library itself. We've put a lot of effort into building a collection of the highest quality software tutorials available anywhere on the web. A big part of this success is due to having a Publisher like Steve H. whom tirelessly works to find and train our roster of industry-leading expert trainers. We've never been the type of company to publish "training by some guy" ... all of our trainers are seriously skilled and recognized in their respective fields of expertise, and we are only going to improve on this as the future unfolds. There's some amazing content coming soon to macProVideo.com!

Time keeps on slipping' into the future ... and it's a future that is going to be exciting to see! I'd like to thank all of our members for supporting us as we've grown through the years ... we couldn't have done it without people like YOU!!

Congratulations to Martin, Steve H., and everyone at the macProVideo.com team. I cannot even begin to express how much your tutorials have helped me in learning Logic Pro, mixing, mastering, and so much more when it comes to music production. Every time I buy another tutorial, I'm yet again blown away by (1) the quality of instruction, (2) the quantity of material, (3) and the obvious time and effort put into each product. You're truly a class act, macProVideo.com, and I'm constantly telling others about both your music-related offerings and your other tutorials as well. Here's to the future! Cheers, Grant Pasay

Thanks for helping me during the last 3 years to understand better how my "toys" work. I've been watching your tutorials over and over and every time I find something useful which I either forgot, or just did not pick the first time :-)

Many, many happy returns. I am an original MacProVideo customer and enthusiast and your tutorials enrich my creative world daily - among them Logic, iMovie, Final Cut and many more. I would also like to make special mention of Steve H who has unravelled many of Logic's mysteries in a most entertaining and lucid manner. Wishing all at MacProVideo all the best and looking forward to the future and more birthdays.
