It's finally appeared - and some of the specs have even leaked. So will it look and sound like a real ARP 2600? Here's what we know so far.
News reaches us via Synthanatomy that the long-rumoured Behringer clone of the classic ARP 2600 is finally here - and it looks amazing. Interestingly it's not physically huge like the original but actually somewhat smaller, and appears able to be rack mounted. Uli Behringer himself even gave a brief quote about it:
The metal case has just arrived. Isn’t she a beauty? What do you think? Please remember this is early stage and we’re far from shipping a final product. But we want to share with you what we’re working on. And one day we’ll deliver a 2600 to you. Promise:-) Uli
There's no audio available yet, but in the meantime, here is what has leaked about this brand new synth hardware.
