  • Click OK. New Bar/Beat Markers will be added to the Tempo ruler at the beginning and end of the section, with a new tempo event at the start of the section.
  • Repeat this process for all sections in the session.

  • For each track on which you wish to perform Elastic Audio-based actions, you need to choose which Elastic Audio plug-in is appropriate. For drum material this would most likely be the 'Rhythmic' plug-in (other choices are Polyphonic, Monophonic, Varispeed and X-Form, although this last one is not a 'real time' plug-in and renders any previous choice). Choose the appropriate elastic audio plug-in in the elastic audio pop-up selector on the track header.
  • Hold down the Option key when you make this choice to choose the same plug-in for all tracks of the same type.
  • If you then click on the Elastic Audio plug-in selector you will open the plug-in window for that Elastic Audio plug-in. Note that some of those plug-ins have adjustable parameters.

  • Use the Grabber tool to move Warp markers; where a Warp marker is 'constrained' on both sides by another marker, only the one you are moving will move, compressing audio on one side while stretching it on the other.
  • If the Warp marker is only constrained on one side, for example at the very end of a region, you can force a Warp marker to appear at the region boundary—which will then constrain the region boundary—by holding down the Shift key with the Grabber.
  • Take care not to make a selection in the region before carrying out the above actions, otherwise the action will apply to all Warp markers in the selection.
  • Hold down the Control key with the Grabber to add new Warp markers. 
  • Hold down the Option key with the Grabber to remove unwanted warp markers (you can also double-click with the Grabber to remove unwanted warp markers).
