What's the deal? No new ableton videos.
Mac video needs to upload new ableton videos. there hasn't been a new one in months. so, i cancelled my subscription with macprovid until they get off their laze ass's and update. this was a great idea starting this website, it's sad to see it not go anywhere...

Hi WTF, Welcome to the macProVideo forums! We've been releasing a lot of different tutorials over the past few months. Granted they are not all specific to Ableton Live - but if you check out the Studio & Recording section: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorials/studio+and+recording+techniques-suite you'll see that this area is growing and is applicable for Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason and Ableton Live users. As well as this we have many other tutorials across a wide range of software and non-software specific genres being released and in the works. (We've certainly not been resting on our "lazy ass's"... ;-) ... in fact "productive & hard-working" are words I would use to describe all my colleagues here at macProVideo!! We're continuing to produce great quality content... and the frequency of this content is increasing. But, by all means, you can unsubscribe from our service and re-subscribe anytime you wish to. And sincerely, as an Apple Certified Trainer, who mainly uses Logic as my weapon of choice, I'd encourage you to check out the range of mixing tutorials shot in Logic and Pro Tools (even for genres you don't make music for) and the Studio Recording techniques (linked above)... there is so much there to learn there that you can apply to any DAW. Also, regardless of whether you continue your sub or not, our blog is growing and growing with more Logic, Reason, Cubase, Pro Tools and Ableton tuts appearing daily! http://www.macprovideo.com/blog/ btw... if there is a specific video tut you would like to see produced, you can let us know in the "Suggested Training" sub-forum here: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training Thanks and have a great day! Rounik

Hi! Good to see you on the forums again :) What kind of topics for Ableton did you have in mind? In the last few months we've released 2 or 3 new titles: 102, 202 and 204: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorials/ableton+live-suite In fact there is one title that is a week or two away from being released... Can't say more for now :) We'd love to know what areas of Ableton you'd like to learn more about... Don't know if you're familiar with the MPV Hub (Online Magazine)? We've got an Ableton section there you might like to check out (44 articles to date and more coming): http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/category/ableton-live Thanks !

Yo Rounik, will check it for sure , anyway there is plenty of material on this website too that I still have to watch... (im a logic user too, but since i updated to Lion, my Logic 8 is not working so i started using ableton again - before i used it only on rewire to preview samples) You know what? In all these years, I havent seen around a decent tutorial on building the arrangment, song structure and tips on how to create intro, break etc. etc. I dont have problems with that actually, but it took me a lot of time to figure out and... really, just check it around, there is no serious and well explained tutorial about that. Personally, I would love to see (wheter on logic or ableton) a good tutorial on Deep house music. And this too, you cant find a good one on the web. A good tutorial, explaining the main elements of a deep house track and maybe even a bit of musical theory on how to make "deep house soundish" chords... anyway, I always enjoy this site very much!
