Hi Music Lover I am retired, a bass player, play a little keyboard and have alot of time. I have everything I need to make music, I purchased a Zoom R16, cubase Le 4 came with it and I have no ideal, no knowledge of the software, what do I do (HELP!) Someone please tell me the 1st, 2nd and 3rd steps. Thanks

You have your hands full. Well, U have come to the right place. Start looking at the Cubase tutorials one at a time. Digest the Core 101 tutorial. This should get you started. As far as the other device, read it's manual. Basically, you have to enjoy messing with the technical aspects of the studio to appreciate this stuff.
