    Mastering Tools In Cubase
In Matthew's demonstration of Mastering In Cubase, he set up the stereo channel for what he called "Punchie, Shinny and Loud". He listed the signal chain to include the Multiband Compressor, thirty (30) band EQ, Limiter or Maximizer plus the UV22. My question is: Should I set the stereo channel to perform these task if I am going to Master in "WaveLab 7" or should I leave the above task out and place them in WaveLab 7 when mastering the project?

Hi Cubase 5, You only need Master your music once... unless you decide to re-master it -- but that's another story ;-) Anyway, do your normal mix routine and then export your project and import it into WaveLab 7 where I'd recommend trying out Matthew's channel strip advice. Cheers Rounik

Thanks Rounik, I figured performing the task of the channel strip in Wavelab would be the proper way since I do have the Mastering Suite (Wavelab 7). The Cubase route no doubt would be fine if I only used Cubase to master. Thanks for the conformation. ;0)
