    IzOTOPE versus ADOBE AUITION
I am a rank beginner here, using Adobe Audition 2020; and having just purchased iZotope RX-7, For VOICE OVER audios My first impression is that the addition of RX-7 should be considered a very useful addition to my editing efforts and not meant to be a replacement for many of the editing tools already in Adobe Audition. Please comment. Vincent Diaz San Diego, CA

Hi Vincent - While there is some overlap between Audition and RX7 in the area of audio processing & repair functions, Audition is more of a general-purpose audio program for recording & editing, while RX7 concentrates on advanced audio repair techniques, going much further in that area than general-purpose DAWs. It includes a number of cutting-edge tools specifically for dialog/VO processing, which I regularly use myself on the VOs for my courses, so I'm sure you'll find it useful.
