Hello again everyone:) Well, I'm still having trouble FADING OUT a software instrument track. I used the EVB3 plug-in and played an organ track via the step-keyboard, and I'm trying to FADE OUT the last 2 bars or so of that region, but I can't get it working!! I've consulted the manual and did what it said, I think, but I still can't get it to FADE OUT. Any help for this drummer-wanna-be Logic Pro pro! hahahaha Thanks everyone. Jodie

Hey Jodie, There are a few ways to do this, but with a software instrument track you can't use the fade tool. 1. Select the track 2. Turn on automation (A) 3. Make sure volume line is selected in automation mode. 4. click where you want the fade to start and a node is created. 5. click where you want the fade to end and another node is created. 6. drag the second node down to produce a fade out. 7. To create a curve hold down Ctrl-Option and drag up and down on the line between the two nodes. Cheers! Rounik
