    Comments in the Environment?
Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to leave oneself textual notes in an environment? I'd love to leave myself instructions on how an environment works inside the actual file! Thanks! Steve K

Hi Steve, I use the Markers feature to input text... Option-Cmd click in the lower third of the Bar Ruler to create a Marker and open the Marker list in a floating window (or press Option-M) then you can write anything you like in the Marker window and as it's a floating window it'll stay on top of the standard Environment window. Steve K: In addition to the marker idea (which is first prize), you can add small notes by creating a Text fader, and then typing into any one of the text fields (when you double-click it). I use this to label things and add reminders. I usually delete the fader's name but add lots of spaces, otherwise it's almost impossible to grab the thing afterwards to re-position it. You are limited by the number of characters per text field though. If you want to add complex notes, you can make several entries. You can also add colour. See below: [img][/img]

Hi Colin, Great point! I also use Text faders in the Environment for short notes! I think i might just start using them more often now. By the way, I like the colour of your desktop background :-) Cheers Rounik
