You mean you want to copy a few tracks (with automation) from a project to another ?
1-)Open project 1.
2-)Open project 2 but don't close project one.
3-)Go back to project 1. Select the track you want to transfer. Make sure there is only one region on the track. Use the glue tool to if there is more than one.
4-)Select the region. Go to Options - Track Automation - Move All Track Automation to Region. This will transfer the track Automation to the Region.
5-)Go back to project 2. If you used any plugins, make sure you have all the same plugins open on the empty track.
6-)Drag the region from the Project 1 arrange window to the Project 2 arrange window.
7-)Select the new region in Project 2 and choose : Options - Track Automation - Move All Region Control Data to Track Automation.
8-)Turn on "Read" on the Channel Strip.
Repeat for other tracks as necessary.
