    Saving 3rd party plugging settings
    I saved a 3rd party pluggin setting in Logic and it assigned the file as "blankblank.aupreset", however it had the file type set as "FinalCut Pro XML File" is that normal? btw I don't have Final Cut Pro...

    Yes, thats correct. Even though you're saving the preset out as an aupreset the Apple OS will recognize the file as a Final Cut Document. Don't worry too much about this. All will work fine when you try recall the presets in Logic.
