    midi pad controller
could you explain how to sync midi drum pad controllers to work in ultrabeat sequencer? i have a midi drum pad controller. i would like to create beats & rythms using the pad controller into ultrabeat and after striking a pad for sound, be able to see each strike inside ub in the velocity gate or in full view & be able to have it react as if i'm clicking on the beat patterns in ub but i'm using the pad controller to creat the patterns. i use the pad controller and i here the pattern and see which voice it uses but it doesn't set the patterns in the full view window or the regular window. i cant strike and see patterns i have to click to see patterns. do i have to assign midi functions?

UB doesn't record incoming midi... it would be great... but it doesn't. However, your can record midi in Logic's sequencer and it will play UB!

I'm sorry, I was referring to Logic 102: The EXS24 Inside and out. Will those tutorials be updated to the Logic 8 ver.
