    Mackie Control Universal
A word of warning. They are a bit on the fragile side. Now, I know I come from DJ'ing, and I like to actually use the faders on my mixer, but 2 dead faders in less than 12 months.... sketchy. If it happens again I am going to trade it for an M-Audio maybe... I love the way it works with Logic, but it is costing me dear in time spent. I am in the middle of 2 remixes, and its gone to the shop again.

That's interesting ... I don't really see these around much anymore. I wonder if these are common problems? I had one on loan for a while and it seemed to work fine, but then I gave it back and never really missed it ...

I like to have a thing with real controls on. esp. for fianl mix, I always loved my Spirit for that, and have never grown out of it.

Jumping out of the frying pan into the fire if you go the M audio route in terms of reliability. You will also find that it doesn't work as seamlessly with Logic.
