Hi First off I would like to say congrats to Martin Sitter for the excellent Logic 8 Core tutorial. Awesome way of putting things accross and flow :) What I would like to know is this. I see in my NED player that the core 8 tutorial is Version 11 so im assuming that its the 11'th version of the same tutorial with some update changes. When a new version is released will it update automatically and how can we tell what has been changed, is there a version log anywhere? Would it mean sitting through the whole tutorial to spot the changes? Also, what version are the other Logic 8 specific tutorials on or is it a 101 type issue only? Cheers mac

Hi Mac I'm not sure if in this case it's the 11th updated version. I know that Martin released it in sections (so chapter 1-22 first week, then 23-35 a week later, etc etc). I think there must have been some updates as well though. With other tutorials your idea makes sense as with Logic 205 there was an update recently which reads as 2 versions. When a new version is released, you'll either hear about it on the main page or here in the forums. Even if you don't read about it, opening NED and clicking the Update button will download any updates for your tutorials automatically! As far as i know there is no log currently in NED. Do suggest this in the NED for Mac or Forum Feedback. However, I've been able to spot updated chapters fairly quickly (as they tend to be Logic 8 revisions). Also, I've been surprised how many tips and techniques I've missed or forgotten about while looking for updated features. (Watching these videos again is no bad thing ;-) I don't have all the Logic tutorials, but here are the version numbers of the ones I have: Logic 206: ES2 - 1 (but will be updated soon) Logic 202: Plugins - 1 Logic 204: UB - 2 Logic 205: Sculpture - 2 Logic 303: TNT - 10 (this is updated monthly with new videos) Logic 101: Logic 8 - 11 Cheers Rounik

Cheers Rounik Well, I was so impressed with Core 8 that ive just purchased the rest of the Logic 8 tutorials and it appears that Ultrabeat is on version 3 so you better go update! ;) Can I just add, Hyper Learn is the greatest thing EVER as far as video tutorials go. Information just flies out....reminds me of The Matrix when Neo is straped into the training program for the first time :)
