Hello, I have been working with some brass sounds and I have noticed that the Trumpet sounds a little flat such as an e rather than round like a O syllable. How is it possible to adjust the sound of an instrument. Does this have any thing to do with the filters? Thanks, Alan

Hi Alan, The filters in EXS24 and all the instrument plug-ins can change the way a sound...sounds! Try changing the cuttoff and resonance to achieve a more open sound. Cheers Rounik

Rounik, thank you. I do play with these but it doesn't change the basic sound. I don't know how a sample comes out sounding like a synth sounding Trumpet but I found some of the sounds to sound that way. I have a problem viewing the path in the arrange window because the sound loads from the folder from within the project and sometimes it's doesn't show the instrument in the Library if it's edited.
