    GB and rewire
I can get Rewire to work with DP or GB on my desktop computer, but not on my laptop. In both instances, I am making sure that I am opening GB or DP first, then opening Reason after the main audio software (GB or DP) is booted. But, I cannot get Reason to boot in rewire mode when doing this on my laptop. It keeps booting up in audio card mode, instead of rewire. I have also tried selecting and deselecting the control surfaces/keyboard preferences in Reason but that does not help. The laptop I am using is a MacBook w/OS 10.4.8, Reason 3.0.4, and GB 3.0.4. Thank youGB and rewireGB

    Re: GB and rewire
I had the same exact problem and spoke with Motu who informed me that DP 4.6 did not work with MAC OS 10.4.8 which either caused crashes or rewire instabilty and other things to happen so I ended up getting DP 5.13 and it required MAC 10.4.11 update which ran perfect thereafter. I don't know what version you have but it would'nt hurt to check. P.S. I use Reason 2.5, DP5.13, Protools 7.1, Sampltank 2L, Recycle
