Just finished the excellent FCP 7 101 - really enjoyed it and learnt a huge amount. One thing not covered was capturing into (for instance) ProRes Proxy, editing and then moving the edit into other flavours of ProRes (HQ / 444), one of the big features of FCP7. I have looked through all the other tutorials, but unless I'm missing something, this is not covered + cannot find info on forums. I have worked out how to do it, but I'm sure there are plenty of useful tricks that can be employed. Suspect the topic would make a short but but very useful advanced level tutorial? Any other takers?
