Stereo Output at Top of Track List
Student 481728 asked: >> How do you get [the master Stereo Out] track to show up at the top of the track list? When I try (LPX v10.6.2) it does not let me drag the track to the top? To get the master Stereo Out track to stay at the top of the track list (left side in the mixer) the trick is that you have to make a duplicate Stereo Out object in the Environment. The duplicate will functionally mirror the original Stereo Out channel, but Logic will let you position the duplicate anywhere you want. (You may have to change the name of the duplicate). Then you just turn the (option to display the) the Output Track off in the Track menu, add a new track to the track list, move it to the top, and right-click that track to Reassign it to the new (duplicate) Stereo Out.
